This is to inform you that I had bought a ICICI Lombard home insurance policy(contents) from Reliance Fresh Outlet in Chennai. Before buying the insurance they told me a lot of things but in the end when the claim came all that was told by Reliance went in the waste because of the attitude of the ICICI Lombard personnal. When the policy was taken it was told that all the things like electronics household items, furniture, jewellery etc were included in the policy. And they also said that if any damage happens due to lightning,power flutuation, earthquake, fire and other calamities it is covered. But when my Aircondition was having a problem the ICICI personnal started giving a different story. They rejected the claim saying it is not included in their scope. Kindly let me know what is to be done.
