I, Narender Munjal have taken a general insurance policy from IFFCO-TOKIO. Since from opting the policy I am paying the premium amount regularly. Now in the last month of February I met with a serious accident with a truck and my car was almost damaged from the front side. I got hospitalized for 3-4 days. After that I contacted in the company for the claim regarding processing. I have registered my claim on 17th-Feb-2011 and submitted the required documents on 20th-Feb-2011. Now from that day to till date I am regularly calling up in the company and they are not giving me any satisfactory answer rather they are asking me to contact to Surveyor. Why should I talk to Surveyor? did I get the policy from the surveyor or is it written somewhere in the insurance policy that I need to contact to surveyor for the claim. Even though I spoke to him (Mr. Mukesh Aggarwal) twice and every time he says in 1-2 days your work will be done. I don't understand 1-2 days means how many days. Above this he is making false statements that customer doesn't want his car to get repaired, without talking to me. This is really a height of harassment. Although I have talked in the company with Mr. Shambhu on Thursday, Friday and the same he is saying 1-2 days. What does this mean rather attending the customer he is saying why don't you again talk to Surveyor. I was shocked to listen this that company is running far from its responsibilities. When today I made a call again in the company and the same person Mr. Shambhu has picked my phone still he was asking me to contact to Surveyor and when I shouted on him then he said OK I will ask my Manager Mr.Pankaj Jain to contact you with in 10-15 minutes, till yet by 11:00pm I have not received any call. This is really ridicules that this company is not taking care of its customers. When the company sells its policy the amount is charged from the customer on the spot but when it comes to the claim issue not even the approval is made by company officials, rather the customer is harassed. Even if one customer is not satisfied he can tell this to 100 customers to not to go for IFFCO-TOKIO then what will be use of giving heavy ADVERTISEMENTS in different channels. Word of Mouth is the main publicity why these people don't understand this. I am very sure about it that if my case has not been taken in account seriously and early I will definitely go in Media and also will make a police complaint against it.

Now my question is Should anybody go for the Insurance Policy for Safety Measures or Harassment?
