I’m Yashwant Upadhyaya son of Shri Ramkalyan Upadhyaya & Smt. Sushila Upadhyaya R/o Ganesh chowk Baghera, Thesil-Kekri, Distt Ajmer Rajasthan.

I have complaint that, my Parents requested has been cheated by your insurance agent (India Infoline) by mis and forceful selling of insurance product. And while they did requested to Free Look the policy on the same day written as well as verbal, now denying to refund the money.
My Parents are pensioners and are in old age, They have earned hard money and save throughout their life, there is no any other income sources available and living in a small village. I would like to brief to about the entire story happened with them and will also disclose the name of the officers by whom they have been cheated.
My Mother received a telephone call on 27/03/2010 by India Infoline officers Ms. Archana Modi (contact No. 09509377772) that our telephone no. has been selected and won a prize, and they need come at TRIPUTI Hotel at Kekri on 30/03/2010 to collect the gift along with her husband. My parents did not understand their intention and they went to collect the prize.
As they reached to the Hotel, It has been told to Swith-Off their mobile phone and attend the seminar organized by them before giving the gifts. So it was compulsion to attend the seminar. During and after the seminar they strictly denied to switch-on the mobile and can not speak with any of their relatives. And thay gave such a lucrative offers which were not true completely false selling of the policy, My parents requested them to speak with me before doing the policy which they clearly denied. And on the same day a guy among them came along with my parents and collected the cash amount Rs. 50,000/-.
After 1 hour my parents called me and told about entire episode and features which the selling agents told them during the seminar. I did confirmed through my other friends about the policy features which I found were completely false and mis and forceful selling of product to my parents. Then we have immediately called around 4.30 pm to the same lady ms. Archana Modi to please refund the money, then she denied that money has been deposited in reliance office and you have to free look the policy with in 15 days after receiving the policy documents. At the same time I have word with their Branch Manager Mr. Ranawat (Contact No. 09024581636), he also rassured us that need not to worry we will refund u’r money without any deduction but will take 15 days time. We have to visit their office after receiving the physical policy documents. We did trusted on his words since till the time we don’t know that this policy is been mady by Reliance and they (India Infoline) are only the selling agents.
But during same time for precautionary purpose on 31/03/2010 my parents also sent a written request to Mr. Ranawat at his office address by registerd post. Which scan copy has been attached for your reference.
After this I personally requested everybody 100 times out of which thay did attended my call 10 times but assured me that our money will be refunded soon. Similiary we made the request on customer care also but they replied to contact at the branch and wait for policy docs.
We have received policy documents on 30/04/2010, and my parents went at India Infoline office on 03/05/2010 and submit all the original policy document to Mr. Yogesh Mahavar. (written receipts is enclosed) and the same time there were one representative from reliance Life mr. Sumit Yadav assured them within 15 days your entire money without any deduction transferred in u’r bank a/c.
On 17/05/2010 me & my parents made a call to customer care to confirm of refund process, which he told that your request has been rejected and SR no for the same are :-

It was shocking to us. Customer care officer told us we have to make the request at branch level and onle concern RM can approve this request.
Then I had word with Ms. Vandana (0145-3237092), she told that we have not booked u’r policy and can not take u’r request. I asked her to give me the concern RM’s name & no. so that I can request him. Which she clearly denied and disconnected the phone.
Finally I did requested to Mr. Sumit Yadav which is replied very rudly and told money will not refunded you can do whatsoever you can do.
This was all the incident, which really awake us that the kind of brand name RELIANEC how badly mis using by the selling agents as well as we have seen the difference before and after being your customers. How the poor and older people are cheated and feels helpless afterwards.
I hope you must understand the kind of bad experience We had but still have very positive hope and attitude with RELIANCE. And expecting a positive action on the same soon before approaching any competitive authority.
Kindly help us to get refund our money soon without any deductions, since my parents are already in big tensions and I’m worried of their health.
