my parents have joint life cover plan .my father had died in 1989.we have received payment once and now this policy got matured in 2008,but still we didn't get payment.so plz help us and rply soon.thanks

This is with reference to my wife’s hospitalisation insurance claim post delivery.

My wife delivered a baby boy on 2nd Nov 2011 . She was hospitalized for delivery and had normal delivery

Post delivery she was in her good health, but after 7 days she started severe headache for 2 weeks and vomiting few times in a day.

As she had no other neurological illness, for the same attachment of discharge summary sheet from the hospital is given herewith, please find the same.

After approaching to Dr. Soubhagya Bhat specialist (DGO) on 21/11/2011 my wife got diagnosed with Postpartum cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT).

For further treatment she was admitted in KLE Hospital Belgaum from 21/11/2011 till 30/11/2011 where was under observation of Dr.K.Ravishankar Naik (DM-Neurology) & Dr. A.O.Soraja MD (med).

The expenses which I incurred during the treatment are about Rs.49349 including Hospital charges medicine and other medical reports.

For availing the benefits under Group insurance of Company I submitted documents to Mr. Ajay Agrawal ( Afcons Insurance Deprt ) for Claim but it got declined by the

Insurance Company stating that the decease is caused during delivery (maternity) and the same is not covered under Group insurance so they can't clear my claim. They even stated that the chances of this type of case is 1 in Lakh .

I request you to treat as special case and do the needful in settling my claim.
