Following are the two policies of Max new york life that I want to raise my Complaint against which are two tears old now –1. 722205689 – Sanjay Agarwal – I was called by Max Newyork life agent called Vignahartha. I was told that I need to invest Rs.30000/- for 3 years and I am to get a guaranteed return. The Rs. 90000 invested over 3 years would be returned as 1,15,000/- around at the end of 3 years. I believe and went ahead with the policy. When policy document came in, I did not bother to go thru it only to find there is no such commitment in the document2. 733571772 – Mani Agarwal (My Wife) – After the previous policy, sometime in July I was called again saying that since I have a previous policy a new policy was being offered to me with same terms and conditions + I will get a loyalty refund of Rs. 15000/- when the policy is issued. After verification call and reconfirming I went ahead with the transaction and the policy came in. I did not bother to see the policy only to find there is no such commitment in the document but started followup with Maxnewyorklife for getting a check of Rs 15000/- that was due. At one point they even said that the check would be coming out to me but after a few days they started dodging my calls and mails. O the extent I got fedup and stopped followup. I tried to get to IRDA but did not find any contact information then3. Interestingly again I received a call saying that Maxnewyorklife and ICICI had merged certain part of business and that now ICICI was offering the same scheme to me. This was after giving reference to my previous policies with Maxnewyorklife. Although I did go thru the transaction but in the free lookup period I returned it back and had to escalate to top bosses for refund which they were not ready too.4. Next I received a call stating that the person calling from IRDA and trying to cross a policy to me which I did not go thru.
