    Default Non-action by Bajaj Allianze against mediclaim

    Prior to 14.07.2010, I was under regular treatment of Asthma . On 14.07.2010, I was diogonised as having developed cardiac symptoms and was referred for angiography/aqngioplasty at Abdur RazzaqueAnsari memorial Hospital(Apollo Hospital group) and was advised medical intervention. Isured as I was by Bajaj Allianz under the Silver Health Scheme, I approached them for obligatory assistance from the time of admission to the said Hospital to the time I was discharged to no avail. I was never diogonised as cardiac patient prior to 14.07.2010, plea on which the Bajaj Allianz rejected my claim. I have medical record of last 3 years to corroborate this.
    Because of unprofessional approach of the Insurer, I was forced to overstay in the Hospital and my kin had to run from pillar to post to arrange the money for payment of the bills of the Hospital and my consequent discharge caused me and my kin great humiliation and torment as also putting my life to jeopardy.
    I have already served a legal notice to Bajaj Allianz on 27.07.2010 and am awaiting their reply.
    I have also registered my complaint with the IRDA on 02.08.2010.

    Your approach is highly unprofessional. We have talk time details with your help line and executives through which you were given all the information you needed during my stay and overstay at the hospital. We have evidences of fax messages sent to you by the hospital on your demand.You preferred to refuse to help me for which I had got insured with you with lame excuses. Now you are again asking details. This is sheer procrastination. Go ahead and explain your callous attitude and stand to IRDA and answer to the legal notice sent to you by my lawyer..

    Angry Policy Renewal Bugs in Bajaj Allianze website and Pathetic Service from Bajaj Allianz

    Hi All @ Bajaj Allianz,

    This is with reference to renewal of my car insurance policy. I renewed my policy (OG-10-1101-1801-00015267) online through Bajaj Allianz policy website on 10th Oct, 2010.

    On the Bajaj Allianz the Payment gateway successfully completed the transaction but the page gave error when it was suppose to return on Bajaj Allianz site from the payment gateway site. Luckily, I took the snapshot of successful payment before the page crashed. Please find enclosed see the attached snapshot (Successful Payment Reference No - 167539).

    On your suggestion I did talked to Barclay bank today and they have confirmed that the transaction have successfully gone through and the merchant (Bajaj Allianz) have claimed the money from my credit card account. The reference number given by the Barclay bank is - 057058.

    In addition, just after payment, I received a message (SMS) from Bajaj Allianz on my mobile no (9873461414) that the payment is successful and have mentioned Transaction ID (1831562) and Receipt No - 110100473661. Now, I am getting to know from you that my policy is not renewed. I am totally disappointed and surprised with this kind of service Bajaj Allianz. My policy is going to expire on 14th Oct, 2010 and I need concrete answer from Bajaj Allianz on this matter ASAP. Please send me the status on policy renewal document too as your pathetic website does not even has the flexibility to download the renewed policy document online.

    Please let me know by today itself on the transaction details. I must tell you I have done policy renewals for my another car through ICICI Lombard and I have never faced such issue at any time for last several years. This is really pathetic service from Bajaj. Please let me the status ASAP to enable me to take the decision to continue to use Bajaj for my policy requirement or change the vendor. In any case, Bajaj has already claimed amount from my credit card account and still you are saying they have not received the money. This actually amounts to fraud.

    A long history of an express assistance cashless facilty. A case was filed in the District Consumer Court, Ranchi in November, 2010. In thier first appearance in Dcecember,2010, The lawyer of Bajaj Allianzz requesteed "Out of Court Setllement" which was granted by the Hon'ble Forum. However, on one pretexxt or another, Bajaj is stretching the settlemeent giving one lame excuse or anotheer.Last excuse was that the executive holding the settlemeent desk at Bajaj HQ has been transferred.
    This is the way Bajaj helps their customer who are in dire nneed of monetary assistance against duly paid premium health policy. Mine was Silver health mediclaim Health Policy specially tailored for senios Citiznen.More than 500 days, still Bajaj is evading.
