I have Taken Reliance Gold plan Mediclaim Policy 3 years back. I was paying a premimum of Rs. 6,045 for last 3 years . Today suddenly I received a renewal notice with Premium of Rs. 28,363.00 .

How this is possible . Suddemnly Reliance is raising this premium by 6 times what happened where we are paying premiums for last 23 years.

please advice?

Dear friends, I have choose and opt Reliance (Gold) mediclaim policy 3 years back i.e. in year 2007, beacause it has comparatively good facilities at low cost. The cost of family was for my family i.e. 2 adults + 2 child was Rs.7450/- .The same being renewed in year 2008 at the cost of Rs. 9450/-. In year 2009 policy renewed at the cost of Rs. 10250 for 2 adults and 1 child. During past three year no claim has been submitted by me as God's grace myself and my family is healthy and fit.

But now I have received renewal notice for the same at the cost of Rs. 52,500/ for 2 adults and 1 child. That is 7 times more than the policy I have taken 3 years back. (700 % rise in 3 years) and that too for 3 members only, not for 4.

Therefore all mediclaim interested people are requested please be aware before taking such type of bad insurance/investment in mediclaim facility. All the best for correct mediclaim.
