Dear Sir,



In month of August 2011 my car met with an accident as I had insurance from Shriram general insurance, (policy no:-215063/31/11/014456)

I took my car to showroom and registered claim with insurance company, after survey was done repair work was started (Estimate was Rs 60000)

Half work was done when I received call from Showroom to speak with insurance company regards to claim, having some issue.

I called up Toll free no of insurance company they asked me to speak with Claim manager at head office. Called at HO and had word with Nidhi Jain She inform me there is NCB issue with policy.

By the time car was ready but I have received claim rejection letter from insurance company and they were not ready to pay claim amount,

Last year I had policy with reliance and I had claim but in new policy they have given me no claim bonus 20%



Scenario what had happened:-



While renew of policy I was out of town, so I have asked my sister to get my policy renewed from agent as she was unaware of NCB and last year vehicle claim.

Agent has given NCB considering there was no claim for last year



Question to Insurance Company:-



1. My question to Insurance Company why did not they verify with Reliance for NCB

2. If they were not going to pay the claim why showroom guy were given go ahead to start work and also it was not communicated before starting vehicle work.

3. If they were going to reject the claim then what is the use of insurance policy. which I have purchased this means they have collected premium and now denying to pay the claim.

4. And if NCB was issue why they have not send me NCB recovery letter till 6 month period of policy.

5.This was accident, suppose incase Vehicle has been stolen and same scenario happened then what was use of insurance policy

Now accident repair bill is approximate 54000 thousand which I have to pay from my pocket because of improper communication from insurance company, also it is difficult to reach insurance company appropriate person they are just diverting calls between branch office and head office.

Will appreciate your help in getting justice in above case,
