    Angry Tata aig auto insurance complain

    I purchased a car insurance policy from TATA AIG 1.5 months ago. Before purchasing the policy, the sales teams called me almost 4-5 times daily and promising all sorts of stuffs with the policy. They also sent me a written quotation mentioning that I will get 20% discount service booklet (for Hyundai Motors). TATA AIG was very prompt in deducting money immediately on submitting the cheque. The next day I received my insurance policy documents, but on thorough check, I found that the 20% discount service booklet was missing.

    I tried to get in touch with TATA AIG customer care and Tata AIG helpdesk and wrote them 8 reminders requesting them to send them my service booklet. But on the contrary, the customer care didn't even bother to call or reply back to my email reminders. The sales team, who was in touch with me prior to my policy purchase, now has turned their ears deaf and they do not receive my phone calls.

    I request the consumer forum court to help me in getting my service booklet.

    As a proof, I have all 8 emails sent between 24th April 2010 to 8th June 2010. Also I have the quotations and email sent by their sales team before I purchased the policy.

    Thumbs down Dispute of assessment

    I have a BMW 5 series car , which met with an accident recently and is in the service station for the last 45 days , the total repair amount of the car is 3 lacs out which the Tata aig insurance company is only approved 30% which is Rs 80000 , the rest 70% which is Rs 200000 I have to bear.
    They have hired an external serveyor for inspection who has no knowledge whatsoever about the high end car like BMW . If Tata aig cannot afford to keep their own surveyor then the company reputation is at stake.

LTD. vehical registration No. is MH04DW2044 MAKE MARUTI ALTO LXI. We want to laugh complaint that our vehical front glass was craced. so we are requesting to you please send person for inspection & registed our complaint for claim insurance.

    I am a TATA AIG Car insurance policy holder. MY POLICY nO. IS 010025880706 VALID FROM 24.10.2010 TO 23.10.2011FOR MY SANTRO XING XS 2003 MODEL. I am regularlarly getting the insurance renewed from the same company. But this time there was no reminder from your company and unfortunately during festivities I forgot to renew my car insurance in time.

    I then contacted on the toll free number of your company on 31.10.2011, for which they responded promptly and sent a surveyor (Mr. Sonu) on 1st November, 2011 who took the photos of the car and told us that cheque will be collected from us the same day. However, your executive (Mr. Devender) contacted us on 2nd Nov.,2011 conveying that some Mr. Noor will come to collect the cheque personally. But Nobody turned up. I again contacted the same person, who was not responding properly and told that it will take 2-3 days time because they were not aware of the premium to be charged. They told that they have sent some email, the reply of which is awaited.

    Now, with this kind of situation I am unable to take my car on road and am home bound. Nothing is clear as to who will come and when to renew my policy. Is this the treatment meted out to a regular customer of a reputed company of TATA.? I am very embezelled. You are requested to personally intervene and reply me immediately.
