Hi,

My TPA (I-CARE) and Insurance company (United India Insurance Company Limited) denying to register the Post Hospitalization expenses (covers for 60 days after discharge) claim. They received my claim on 23rd Sept 11 and saying that you are claiming it 13days late so they could not process it.

My child had been admitted to hospital (Jahangir Hospital, Pune) on 10th June 11 and got discharged on 12th June 11. His

doctor referred my son for Blood test to "National Institute of Immunohaematology, KEM, Mumbai" on 15th July 11.

We went "National Institute of Immunohaematology, KEM, Mumbai" on 22nd July 11 for blood testing. NII took the blood sample

on 22nd July 11. We paid Rs. 1825 for blood test on same day. NII promised to send the report to my home address at Pune by

post. I was following to NII for blood test report time to time by phone to get the report as earliest as possible. But by unfortunate, I did not get it on time.

Finally on 20th Sept 11, I received the report and then sent the claim for Post Hospitalization expenses to I-Care. But now I-Care(TPA) is denying to register the claim saying that its 13days late.

On blood test report it’s clearly mentioned the sample date (22nd July11) and report generation date (16th Sept11).

Please help me in this how to get the claim processed.
