Sir,

Reg: Non Closure of my de-mat account – KOTAK SECURUTIES

With due respect this is to inform you that I am maintaining the De-mat and Trading account with the following details.

Name RAMANINDER SINGH JHAJJ
Cust ID 14686249
Client ID FRTF 7
DP – ID IN 300214, with Kotak Securities Limited.

Now because of some personal reasons I want to close my account. All my securities have already been transferred. But I regret to note that despite my repeated reminders the company is not closing my said account and still after the passage of almost 6 months sending the debit notes to my SB account.

I submitted the scanned documents through Internet to their customer care, I have also submitted the closure documents with Vashi Navi, Mumbai branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank. I was given the Query ID 4906072 and 4995879 but account was not closed by them.

Then on 26.07.2010, I again submitted my closure application along with the receipt of my application submitted at Vashi Navi, Mumbai branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank vide registered letter no EMI-27697971-IN dated 27.07.2010 to their Goregaon Mullund Link Road MALAD (E) MUMBAI – 400097 office, But till date my account was not closed by them.

Now again vide Query ID 5829816 to my submission for closure, the company mailed me on on 11.11.2010 to deposit Rs 137.36 so that they may close the account and gave me.

I deposited a fresh set of closure documents along with a cheque no 754978 dated 09.11.2010 for Rs 150.00 and the same was credited to my account as confirmed by them vide their Query No 5894799.

But Now I again contacted the company and my query no is 566858290 and 567337761 both dated 30.11.2010, but I shocked to hear the following:

 My account is showing a credit balance of Rs 176.08 as on date but my account closure was again rejected because of a debit balance in the same.
 My account is showing a credit balance of Rs 176.08 as on date but the company is regularly sending a debit note for Rs 104.27 to my SB account with SyndicateBank Chandigarh from their Panchkula / Chandigarh branch and the last Dr note was sent on 30.11.2010(Which is returned unpaid because of obvious reason).


Kindly look into the matter and instruct the company to close my account with them immediately under intimation to me. Thanks and regards.
