Although my all share holdings are demated with Integrated & ICICI with ECS fecility for dividend payment, many companies are still forwarding the dividend warrants by post there by gaining interest for the period btween ECS payment & realisation of warrant sent by post.
My wife & me are holding around 1500 shares of Reliance Industries for nearly 25 years & still I have not received the dividend by ECS(actually my friend has recieved on 19.6.10 by ECS). Normally RIL is prompt in forwarding the dividend by ECS all these years; but this time they have failed. When I enquired with Karvy, Hyderabad I was told that due to "technical" problem our dividents were not sent by ECS & they prefered to send it by post in the last week of June 2010. We have not recieved the dividend so far by post as on 13th July 2010. It is delayed by almost a MONTH.
