My name is deepak sharma. My issue is regarding fraud txn on barclays bank credit card(4339 4834 0532 4445). On 20th of August there was a fraud txn happened on my credit card of Rs 64140(Indorise tech). I got txn message on 22nd August. Immediaately I called up barclays bank cust care and blocked my card. I sent all the required documents to the bank for chargeback. Bank did some investigation and they sent me a signed chargeslip of this txn. I have called bank and sent scan copy of chageslip stating this is not mine signature. Bank can check with the data and records they have. But bank is not serious about this investigation. I have started receiving calls from the banks collection dept to pay this amount. I came to know one more thing from the bank that when the fraud happened merchant did not take the id proof of the fraud person. But according to RBI there is a guideline, if the txn is above ten thousand than merchant needs to take the identity proof of the person. But merchant did not follow the guideline of RBI. Now bank is saying I will have to pay this amount as I called up bank cust care for fraud txns after two days of fraud.
But I called immediately as got message from banks side.
