hi,
I was using a credit card of barclays bank some time before and wants to close the card because of the poor services of the bank .they never gave me my monthly statements on time and chargeed late fees against it . I request them manny times to settile my accout and they hardly consider it.After some time I started receiving calls from the collection agencies and they finally get ready to settile my accont.In october 2009 they finally setilled my account on Rs.5000 where as my outstanding balance was 23092.They gave me full and final settilement letter against those 5000. and told me that after 14 days i'll get my N.O.C. from bank through courrier.when after 3 months i did't received my N.O.C than i called in the customer care of barclays bank they taold me to wait for few days more.
now few days before I again received a call from the bank and they are saying that my card is not closed it is still panding and the amount which i gave tham is submitted in my account, when I told them that i am having their settilement latter which says no dues.so they told me to contect in bank.
I went to the bank and there I come to know a new thing that my settilement was fake and letter that they had given me was with fake signatures of signetory authority name...Siddharth Nanda.(RCM Credit Card North) and when I asked for him they told me that he has already resigned. Now they are telling me to pay 18092 Rs. in order to get the card closed.
Please do the needfull as soon s possible as it is effecting my credit history.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I Got a call from Barclays (Mumbai) for Platinum+ Credit card
i enquired about annual fee clearly They said there is no annual fee
got a call from other executives also who was taking my personal details for processing credit card
even i asked that lady executive also even she said clearly like ther are no charges (Annual)
at last i received card having limit Rs.20,000(But it was told that limit would be rs.1,00,000.)
in welcome kit it is mentioned that i have to pay annual charges Rs.5500 including other fees

NOTE : I spoke to 3 executives i asked clearly about annual charges they said no annual charges

Subject-Fraud made by Barclay's Bank about offered Platinum Credit Card


I have received a call from Brclays Bank and they offered Barclay Bank Platinum credit after asking all the information related to me and he commited me the following commitments.
(1) Barcley Bank will provide me a platinum card of limit between 80,000Rs(eighty thousand rupees) to 10,00,000Rs(ten lacs rupees).
(2)Barcley Bank will provide 5000Rs domestic airlines tickets against joining fees of Rs-4999+Service Tax and these tickets would be transferable to any relative or friend and using period for these tickets would be up to one year from the time of receiving the ticket date.
(3)The next year fee would be waived off if use of credit card would be more than 2lacs(two lacs) in one year.

Sales executive said that application form has been filledup online and there is no requirement of my signature on credit card applying application form.

But when i received credit card of Barcley Bank by courior i was surprised that the limit of the card was Rs 20,000(twenty thousand rupees) and 4999 rs+service tax was charged means no commitment was fullfilled & then i could understand how Barcley Bank cheated me .I immediately informed at Barcley's Bank customer care complaint no-CAS4222750 but till now there is no satisfactory solution has been given by the Bank,and now nobody is giving any solution from bank and even they have send me the statement of rs 4999+service tax as fee of card.everyone should understand how barclay bank made me fool giving the credit limit twenty thousand and charging fee near about 5600rs with out using of Barcley's Bank credit card
