    Angry Credit Card Settlement Dispute with HDFC Bank

    Hi,

    My Name is Bijal V Shah. i had a HDFC credit card in 2004. Due to wrong information provided by customer service representative and incorrect charges levied by the bank I stopped making the payments.

    However in 2006 I got in a with the bank for Rs. 20,800/- approx and i over paid them. I got the settlement letter from collection agency of the payment and receipts of the same however till today i receive calls and they say that my payment is outstanding. I have explained them the situation several times but of no use. Later I did 1 more settlement for another Rs. 20,000/- for which i got the settlement letter but still the issue is the same.

    It's mentally disturbing me and my parent's and I am unable to concerate on personal life. My father has Parkinsons Disease and because of the above situation his health is going down.

    I am concerned a lot. Please suggest how do I get the matter closed and get peace in my life.

    Default suggestion for hdfc bak creditcard settelement

    my dear friend , dnt worry about that issue
    u have paid all the outstanding right
    so dont pay even a single rupee from now
    and watever they want to do let them do
    bcoz as per the law ban or other outstanding parties are dnt have rightd to harrase
    so just say file complain against you and everything settle in court
    when u say this they may harrase u, bt u should be strong on ur words
    at the end they only comes to u and and request you,
    you say i have been settled i have proof, i dnt pay thats it..............

    Angry HDFC Credit card settlement dispute

    Dear sir,
    I have a hdfc credit card no : 4050282001510002
    I have received settlement letter Ref No: S-0901326 for 35000.00 on 19th of January-2010 from the hdfc bank-collection agency guy called Arun from S.L.N Solutions-Bangalore,Name of the collector-Bharatha,Collectors id card number-S-06520 As per the discussion with him accepting the settlement letter was for 2 installments in two moths was committed, I have issued cheque for 15,000.00(Receipt No: R-5928301) on Jan 15th 2011 which is already cleared and another bank cheque (Receipt No: R-5928301) for 20,000.00 on 25th of Feb-2010, Now from yesterday a person from hdfc bank Ravi (Richmond road-Branch) calling me and asking for immediate payment of balance 20,000.00 before 31st of Jan-2010,
    Otherwise he says the settlement letter will get void in case of non payment before 31st Jan-2011, The bank person calling me now saying that the collection agency guy has misguided me for the payment,
    As a customer we always believe in the hdfc associate also like a bank employee only who is working with you for the collections, I feel cheated now from the bank itself,
    I am not in a situation to arrange the funds immediately, This is causing me the mental distress and not able to handle the pressure, Affecting on my personal life also,
    I request you to please give me time to arrange the funds to clear the payment as per the cheque issued on 25th Feb-2011 and also to keep my settlement letter valid, Hope you will do the needful Asap for the same.

    hi Arun,

    I am Divya one of the credit card holder i taken one shot settalment for for my credit card payment

    i got confirmation call for my 10000 payment but i wont get any confirmation call from HDFC bank for my

    30000 payment.So please update the status of my payment

    Default Hdfc so cards

    My wife used a card(4346 78100 96 12 052) a year back she paid every penny before changing the address and shut the account got a sms regarding the same , now after a year later we got a bill saying 12508/- and a court notice ... But the amounts in invoice are not spent by me helpme and suggest what is this crap?

    Should i pay them ...?

    I called customer care they don't know anything other than its due?

    I think going to consumer court or going to police or going to hdfc bank... ?

    When i went to a bank they told me it can be a fraud call by someone u must check...
