Dear Sir/ Madam

I am a classic customer of HDFC bank, Kalkaji, New Delhi Customer ID 31480944 branch 1559 my account no. 15591050004384 trying to get ATM / Debit Card since December 2010. My personal banker could make it available in February 2011 unfortunately the card did not work at all. On the banks insistence I kept trying till it got confiscated in the month of May 2011. Mean while I had a word with Mumbai Central Office at the Sr. Officer assured me of prompt action which did happen and the local man explained me that the problem was due to non verification from their side.

I personally talk to the Senior Manger Branch and ultimately verification was done in August 2011 with an assures of providing the card by next week. After that nothing happened appointment was fixed two time from the bank but no one came and despite calling on phone they did not take phone. Please note I am Principal of a school, was having Salary account of employees and FDs with above mentioned bank till 2009.
After continues reminders and persuasion I received a mail on 28th Sept. 2011 that your card has been dispatched which i did not receive till today. I have registered once again a complaint yesterday and received a mail that card has went back due to some problem. Complaint Nos - HBL = 013-133-078. This is actually a harassment for customer so called elide / classic by them and creates lot of inconvenience and fall in self esteem.

I need to know the complete process and reasons for the short coming of this service. Bank will appreciate that I am not asking for any compensation against inconvenience, stress and mental tension.
