Hi Team,
This is in concern with the Credit card i am holding from "HDFC Bank". However i have been tourched with the employees working with HDFC Bank in Rajouri garden, as well as with the misbahaviour with the customer. I a card holded with this bank for the last 4 years. Its really shoody to say that its of no use holding this card with this bank. However i have an account with the same bank for the last 4 years. Please take necessary action with this bank and there employee.......... |

Hi Team,
This is in concern with the Credit card i am holding from "HDFC Bank". i am not getting correct update from HDFC card call centers executives. last 15day i am very disturb from bank hdfc card division. i have sent letter for signature changes in card application with declaration form and bank verified letter. every time i am unable to get reply of them. on every call they tell that we will arrange call back for you for this update , still i have not received any call from card division. if they will not solve my problem and will not update my signature in card division records. i will complain further for them. I a card holded with this bank for the last 2.5 years. However i have an account with the same bank for the last 2.5 years. Please take necessary action with this hdfc card divison and there employee.......... |

My Name is Satyendra Shukla, who has been facing the same painful experience. I have - A) Savings account holder of the HDFC Bank - B) Credit Card account I have been requesting HDFCBANK to update my address in credit card as I have left DELHI/Gurgaon. I have been following up their DELHI/Gurgaon Banks since last 6 months. They have turned hostile and point me towards their local bank where my Saving's Account has now been attached. I have a simple request to update my Credit Card address. They asked me to forward an application written and duly signed. I signed the application and put it into their drop box. After one month I got replies that my signature is not matching. Hence, they have to reject my plea. My Savings Bank Account has been attached to Credit Card Account. That's why, it gives me a doubful impression whether they have intermittently changed my details in their records. I asked their Bank Executives to show my signature on their Savings/Credit Card accounts. For them, it is not possible, so people like us are fool enough to have belief on them that they have correct details in their records. I have every right to prove my identity and then check my details entered in their records. I have following questions: - 1) As a customer don't I have legal rights to get my information updated directly by asking their Banking-Representatives. - 2) I have used the same signature in : PAN CARD / DRIVING LICENSE / PASSPORT / VOTER CARD / MARKSHEETS / Ex-Employee's ID CARD / SBI BANK Account. Why don't the BANK validates my information with the attached Savings Account ? I think these documents are required by HDFC to verify my credentials including signature. If they use some other type of documents to create these Credit Card Accounts, then I would go mad by laughing my remaining lifespan. - 3) How would they treat VIP customers, had it been the case. I have been sending applications through Drop Boxes and FASCIMILES (FAXes) ? -4) Do you have no SL/TAT to resolve the issue ? - 5) DO I have legal rights to furnish my details through FAX because signatures of every person may vary, slightly ? - 6) Why I have to contact your Chennai based Center when you have local branch where I have my account ? No doubt that HDFC BANK has excellent line of products as well as Service. Its customer care and online transactions have been outstanding. This has happened to me for the very first time. PIN/TPINs are useless as my requests were never entertained. I am expecting a faster resolution by Mr. Arpan in Indore HDFC Customer Care Department. He has been very cooperative and understands the situation and mistakes committed at HDFCBANK. I am now sending email containing the scanned copy of my application to HDFCBANK's credit Card Department. Let's hope to get things sorted out. I still do not want to ladge my complaints to the RBI's Banking Regulation Authority, because of this mistake at HDFC's bank. ....... I have been a regular customer with HDFC for the past 5+ years (Savings A/c and Credit Card) Recently I have been facing financial difficulties requested the credit card division to allow for post payments (in any case the bank charges a number of things like interest, penalties, etc.) However your staff is uncouth in its behaviour they harass us on phone, come unannounced to our place, inspite of the fact, I have been very patient. However I see a pattern, there seems to be a deliberate attempt to harass, call up whenever they wish to. In case this is true I would be extremely doubtful about the very intentions of your bank or of your staff. When there is a difficulty you have a large number of staff wasting my time & their time, but when there is no difficulty you don't talk. Hence I am getting a feeling that dealing with the bank especialy wrt credit cards has become difficult, I may be forced to take action. I'll greatly appreciate non-harassment in this regard. I stay in south delhi, I have recieved a large number of calls from the nos. 43145000, 43145300, from which I was actually being called a year back for openning new accounts in this bank (ins[ite of my already having this account) Furthermore, the day I openned account in this bank, my contact detail have been publicised without my information & one keeps on getting prank calls to top that (Sir yeh kar lo, woh kar lo ,etc.) Regards (From South Delhi) Quote:

Sir,
The collection department from Rajouri Garden branch has been regularly my cell phone and my sister's place and harrassing us big time. They are extremely rude and abusive. I understand that there is a due on my account from last 2 months for the card which i have been using for last 5 years. I try to make as much payment possible from my end due to some financial issues. Nonetheless my sister does not owe anything, however, you call at her inlaws place asking for payment against my card inspite of the fact that i answer all your calls. Above all you guys abuse her and her family. I also 2 savings account at HDFC account which i recently closed due to these issues only... i would never want to be in relationship with HDFC bank again. Also, i tried for the settlement but no concrete respose from your side. The representaive of the bank gave me his direct number (of Rajori's Garden Branch which is never answered) that was a false commitment from his side. Kindly let me know how can i go further for the settlement on the account, and stop getting all the harrassment calls. Thanks... |

I am Sameer Jha I am using your credit card for past 8 / 9 months. I am paying my due amount regularly, but because of financial issues I was not able to pay my June 2010 month minimum amount of Rs1900. Today is 29th June 2010. I will surly pay the due amount as well as July month payment on 2nd July 2010. I tried to explain this, to your customer care execute but he was not ready to listen to me and started abusing me. I would request you to look into this and grant me 2 more days to make payment. |

My Name is Amit Kumar Rajhans i m facing very painful problem,I have - A) Savings account holder of the HDFC Bank - B) Credit Card account Actually I have a simple request to update my Credit Card address and send my new credit card on the above mentioned address. They asked me to forward an application written and duly signed through mail.I signed the application and mailed to concerned department after that they changed my address but 2 and half months have been passed they never delivered me credit card and every month they are sending me bills of rs. 1300,660 like that if i m not paying the amount DSA persons are unnecessarily calling me and force me to pay the due amount but the problem is when i have not any card before 3 months then why should i pay the unnecessary due. this months also i have made payment of rs 1300. still i have not received my credit card and if i m calling to customer care executive every day they are telling me i have forward your request. i really fade of there services i want claims under the above mental harassment and unnecessary payments against my credit card. plz help the needful Thanks & regards Amit Rajhans |

i have called and appied many times to your customer care for the credit card but I after one reply they have not borthered about it and now they are not even replying properly. we have taken loan for car a/c no:15645239 plz check our status and reply. |

My name is Priyanka Majumdar, credit card holder of HDFC back..my card number is 5289********4937 and i have this card since 2007..prevoiusly the credit limit was 60000 and then i used it full and then i payed it full in 2008...after that my credit limit was increased to 90000 and i agan used it....i was making minimum payments every month..after that i lost my job in 2009 october...i moved to mumbai and then i started finding job there...i told ur employees that i have lost my job but i have to say that HDFC collection department has been taugh good abusive languages to collect the money...somehow i had to borrow money and pay them till february..my last pymnt was of around 9000 on the 8th of feb...my dad passed away and then i moved to delhi...i dont have any money so since feb i have not been able to make any payments. now recovery people have called at my home in kolkata where i dont stay anymore and spoke to my mom...the guys name is Vinod and he called from 01143088203..he told my mom," aap apna mare hue pati ka number dijiye, apka relative ka number dijiye, apke padosi ka number dijiye...mujhe batana hai ke majumdar family ke log bank se paisa udhar leke wapas nahi karte. aapke beti ne bank se 1.5 lakhs ka loan leke chukaya nahi hai.hum 4pm aapke ghar main log bhej rahe hai apke beti ko utha ke lane ke liye." now i have worked with two banks, barclays and HSBC earlier and i definitely know this is not the way u collect ur money. now i want to settle as soon as possible. I have with me rite now 10000 which i can pay and then i can pay more 10000 after two months...thats it...i have no more money with me...i dont have a job...i have nothing...so theres no point asking money from me..if i have to go thru any lawer i will but this is the most i can pay so if u can kindly check this matter and ask Vinod to learn some rules of RBI then i will be greatful to u...my email id is majumdar.priyanka@yahoo.com

The collection department from Rajouri Garden branch has been regularly my cell phone and harrassing me every time for for making payment.. They are extremely rude and abusive. I am making regular payment of my credit card exception to HDFC Standard Life Insurance policy premium amount of Rs.20000/ . The policy has been taken based on the telephonic conversation between Ms Kiran of Rajouri Branch & me. She explained policy is sucrative return is very good. After receipt of policy it was found that terms and conditions is exactly opposite. therefore I immediately emailed for cancellation of policy. without deposit ing the policy in HDFC Standard life Insurance branch. In spite of my repeated request the policy has been cancelled or not i do not know. But premium amount Rs.20000/ has been debited to my credit card in the statement of Jan'10. Presuming that policy has been cancelled I have not paid the amount. I am also not interest on that policy.Because your staff mede me foolish. Till date they have been levying late payment charges , retail charges, finance charges & other charges on Rs.20000/. I have made several request to customer care on telephone to waive off the levied charges The charges have not been waived off. I have also made written request for waive off. Way of talking your staff is extremely rude and abusive. Please look in to the matter take corrective action. Please waive off all the levied charges . If policy has not been cancelled then i shall make the pay ment of Rs.20000/. my card number is 5176 5210 ****4045. Pl inform your credit card billing department to revise the credit card statement.

As I am having Account with Acc no:18691610004970 and customerID: 34270149 in HDFC Bank, on 14th of this September,I tried to withdraw 20000.Rs amount 3 times in the Ongole Axis Bank ATM.one time wrong transaction held. I am unable to collect the cash at that time. Remaining two times I did correctly and withdrawed 20000 Rs.But when I check my Balance after 2 days, extra 10000Rs.has been deducted from my account. How this Happens?
Please understand my problem and help me in this issue. |

Sir,
I am user of HDFC credit card. My purchase amount is just Rs 2500/- (aprox) and may paid more then 4 times of the amount and still the bank say that I have to pay Rs 12000/- since last 6-7 months I have been asking the bank to settle my account but every time they bank makes false promise, and now they say that if I settle my amount i.e. by paying Rs 10000/- though i have made payment more then the purchase amount but still I wont be able to take any loan in future from any bank. Please let me know the remedy to it. Anuj |

Sir my name is Prashant Patil, credit card holder of HDFC back and have this card since 2004..prevoiusly the credit limit was Rs. 30000. My credit limit was increased to Rs. 60000 because I was a prompt customer. In 2008 used it in full and then i paied, making minimum payments every month..later i moved to bangalore. I was paying 3000 per month for 30 months i.e. I paied 30*3000 = Rs. 90000/- for the principle of Rs. 60000/- . So I had requested collection department to convert / or being collected in an easy EMI without being black listed. I can payback the whole credit and bank gets its money.
But everytime I was reject saying their is no such policy and cannot do so. The collection agent are repeatedly in a awkward language asking for the minimum due & no settlement would be done for the same. I continued paying the minimum till i lost my job in 2010 August... and then i started finding job there... I told ur representative that i have lost my job and looking for options where i can settle this account. But I have to say that HDFC collection department has been taugh good abusive languages to collect the money...I dont have any money so since Aug I have not been able to make any payments. Now recovery people have called at my old address in hyderabad where i dont stay anymore and spoke to my dad...I do not remember the guys name but he told my dad," apka relative ka number dijiye, apke padosi ka number dijiye...mujhe batana hai ke prashant ke family log bank se paisa udhar leke wapas nahi karte. aapke batey ne bank se 60000 ka loan leke chukaya nahi hai.hum 4pm aapke ghar main log bhej rahe hai apke betey ko utha ke lane ke liye." i have sb account and fixed deposits in your bank. I applied credit card from last six months several phone came to me for verfication from chandigarh, lucknow , chennai. But till date ihave not rcvd the card. Card is only required for ticket bookingfrom my trip . I planned to go to u.s.a and ticket was rs 57000/- but credit card was not their.and this time that rs 57000/-to rs 82000/- who will responsible for this.
