Thumbs down HDFC Bank gold credit card

    Hello,

This is Poonam Tigga. I want to file a complaint against HDFC Bank.

I have my salary account with HDFC (A/c No- 02801140042713). On the basis of this account, they have given the gold credit card for me. I was always paying my bill on time. However, suddenly I fell sick. I was suffering from Typhoide, so was on leave for more than one month.

I am self dependent and I don't have any other source of income, so requested to close my credit card as I was unable to pay. I was promised for the settlement at 40%-50% of the principal expense. But did not receive any call within 2 months regarding this request. However, when I got my salary after 2 months, they freezed my account.

I was shocked as I do not have any other source of income in Delhi. I contacted them regarding this issue but still the issue is pending and they have not yet contacted me.

Therefore, I request you to contact them and unfreeze my account and close my credit card with settlement at 40% to 50% of the principal amount.

I am very much tensed and not able o resolve the issue myself, so I request you to help me in this regard.

    Sincerely,
    Poonam Tigga
