    Thumbs down HDFC Credit Card

    Hi,

    I had applied to for HDFC Credit card 1 month back. I have recived multiple verification call and they said you application is accepted and under process. In last 3 weeks I have recived no calls and information.

    I tried to call them but calling them was useless and no proper response was given.

    I suspect they will issue card then will do fraud and make me pay later. They are providing no information on my Credit Card or its status.

    Now I am getting mail from your bank stating for application of credit card. Is it difficult to understand that I have already applied and I just need informationa and not to apply for credit card.

    Hi,

    I am an HDFC credit card no. 4346781100947472 and a saving account no. 00441050168289 holder.More than a month back i had spoken to your customer care executives to settle my card and at that time she told me to pay dues for that month. I made the payment and till date there is no idea about what happened. I told her to block the card so that there shouldnt be finance charges reflecting.

    Just three days back i get calls from some man asking me to pay dues for this month. On my asking what happened to the settlement he misbehaved with me and said they wont settle my card and ill manneredly asked me to make payment. I said i will speak to the department first before i make any more payments. I went to my bank branch, spoke to my relationship manager and then finally spoke to credit card division and asked them for assitance. I am still waiting for reply from the division for settlement and this man calls me today and used abusive language with me and threatened me to make payment even when i informed him that i am waiting for a call from the credit card department.

    And abusive to an extent that i cannot explain being a women myself. I am a account holder for more than 6 years and credit card holder for 3 years. I have always had a clear track record and i am "supposed" to be your preffered customer. If this is the way i am going to be treated i wont ever recomend your brand to anyone and never use it in my life ever again.

    This feedback is besides the fact that i am going to lodge a complaint in consumer court. For whatever said and done reasons you cannot have these weird and ill mannered people call your customers who matter.

    And so much for just wanting a peaceful and hassle free settlement.

    Hello,

    Here's the thing and i am on my last nerve.

    My application was processed and i received an sms saying it will be delivered to me by last week.

    I haven't. Now every-time i call customer care, they say its in process and don't know anything else.

    I need it before this week ends and the next week is holidays and i'm not going to be here and i cant possibly have any use for it if i don't have it to spend during my holidays.

    My reference number is 10120120164280S2

    Also note: Some of the verification people are clearly under-qualified to handle something as simple as calling me in after 6 30pm to verify my official phone number because its too hard for them to understand that people also work night shifts in this country.

    This is hoping that somebody can do something from your company.

    Angry Credit card delay

    Hi,

    I had applied for a HDFC credit card on 9th september along with all the documents needed for the same. I had got several confirmation calls which said its processed and will recive it ina week or so. But then i stopped getting calls. Then in the meantime i appleid one more time thinking the application was cancelled. The same process happened again and i got confirmation calls which said process is complete and wil recieve the card in 1 week.

    Then in december i get a message saying the application i had submitted in september doesnt have required documents and i need to submit the documents again.

    I am a fool here to keep on submiting documents is it? I had submitted the documents twice still they say they need it again.

    i had a credit card of hdfc bank.in 2009 sept they setteled in 23000 in one shot.but i couldn't pay in one shot.i was paying every month some amount.i had already paid 13000 out of 23000 setteled amount.their executive said you may pay monthly when few amount will be left to pay then i'll take in one shot and i'll give you another letter.In october 2010 my new company opened my salary account with the hdfc bank.On 2nd november on the occasion of deepawali i got my salary 23815-.Hdfc bank put hold on whole amount.later they took whole amount against credit card amount.I requested them to give some amount to me so that i could run my family.but they didnt do so.I was in big problem whole month as i had no meoney.

    Please do the nedful.

    Hi,
    I had applied for credit card in 2005. But i have not recive the card and a transaction was made from card. After some time bank ask me to pay amout then i told them that since i hvant recive the card, i will not pay. They told me pay Rs 400 and we will trasfer ur case in fraud cell. After paying they start sending bill. now they are saying to settle the case. What should i do?

    My credit card application is under process but when i tried to track my application status on your website "no record found" message comes.Dont know what to do as i tried to call the sales guy who came to my home to collect all my papers n photograph, but his attitude is so unprofessional that i dont even want to speak to that guy he do not have any sense how to talk to customer. :| nor he is helping me in providing any number where i can call n check whole situation. donno what to do??
