I have an HDFC credit card which I used to purchase a Sony Ericsson Neo V for 14500 on Ebay India with Easy EMI option for 3 months- Date: 9th Jan, 2012. But according to EBay's policy, the seller had to ship the item within 7 days or he will have to refund the amount. The seller could not ship the item and hence eBay initiated a refund on 16th Jan, 2012 . EBay people say that they had refunded the amount on 16th Jun and the amount would get credited in 2-3 Working days. I haven't received the refund yet and when I contact HDFC people, they say that they haven't received the refund and ask me to contact EBay. When i contact EBay, they say that they have initiated the refund and they tell me to ask HDFC people about the refund. Also, a debit of Rs.14500 has been made to my credit card towards EBay stating an Merchant EMI Preclosure as the trasaction description. Both the parties are telling me to contact the other party and none of them are taking a proper responsibility.
Now Ebay is giving me a new reference number to track the transaction status of refund with HDFC. Reference no: MHCC2665928215.
Now My credit card has no balance and I am not even able to pay my bills. No phones, nothing with me because of ebay now.

At last it got fixed after a month or so!!! I dont know why they made so late just for a refund ! They shouldn't be doing this to a customer.
