Dear sir/Madam,
My name is Manu Kalia and i am working with Arvato services, gurgaon. i am using one HDFC credit card from last 6-7 months. 2 Months back i used this credit card to buy 2 mobile phones on installment. Before purchasing it, i confirmed 2 times by calling HDFC customer care about the interest and conditions. Both time their executive's said same thing about interest and condition which is that they will charge 1% and 1.1% of total amount and this is one time charge . And also when i swapped my card to pay the amount at the same time their executive again called me and asked for, if i want to pay this amount on installment and mentioned the same interest rate and condition which is one time charge.
Now when i have received my second bill of installment they have again charged me total interest which has wrongly committed it is only a time charge. Afterwords when i called to customer care to recheck, this time they are mentioning it will be charged all time.
Now when i have escalated this problem with their higher management on mail, they appointed a person to resolve this issue, and he mentioned me that either i have to pay this interest each and every time for the duration it has taken or i have to pay whole amount at a single attempt. And also this time they are using abusing language and getting hard on me.
So i would request you to please help me out. I don't want to pay this unnecessary interest.
