My family including myself continue to get the calls for numbers fetching all personal details
022 65515804 / 022 65515805 / 022 65515806 / 022 65515807 / 022 65515808/
022 65515809 / 022 65515810 / 022 65515811 misbehaving and using abusive languages.
They say there is a huge due from Samik Raha against a very old credit card.
But they are not ready to or willing to provide any statement or documentary proof of how and on what account the dues are.
I want to know from HDFC what is the due amount and if any kindly provide the sattement details of dues.

Please assist in solving this issue and if at all there is such due or this is a mere case of forgery going on.
I received a call from 022 65515805 Priti Sinha .... and all my details were taken stating that my husband Samik Raha has a LIC money back to be received.
She said she is calling on behalf of LICI and its a Govt Office and she needs a address confirmation for sending the cheque.
I provided her the details. She requested that Samik Raha to give a call.
When Samik Raha called up.... Priti and Ravi spoke and disclosed that they are from HDFC Bank and Ravi said " We would not be able to provide you with last purchase history and all that since we do not have it " and spoke in abosulute rude, misbehaved , inhuman threatening manner."
We would now go ahead and file a case of forgery with them and also HDFC Bank as they used LICI to place the call and also did not talk reasonably.
They could not provide any details and were not ready to listen to anything and unnecessarily shouting.
Ans moreover there was a request placed over phone banking for cancellation of this credit card in 2006 Q2.
Kindly check you records.
We are privileged customers of reputed banks and have wonderful relationships with them.
Is HDFC thinking themselves to be out of the world Monopoly in Credit Card market that they can afford to hire people who are treating there past and honored customers like this??????
Or HDFC has lost all senses in hiring such people who are making HDFC hold there service quality high !!!!!
My questions to bank authorities
Why and how could some mere third party tele caller like Priti ( or probably the name was also forged) and Ravi misbehave and dared to say that Samik is not willing to make a payment to bank !!! Dose she not judge who has intentions to pay and who dose not !
Had there been any such intentions there would not have been a call asking for the final dues before placing a request for cancellation in 2006 Q2 !
Why did Samik not get any confirmation sms or call for cancellation as promised by phone banking executive? Was HDFC sleeping then???????
Why was this unbilled transaction not intimated to upon asking many time then and falsely it was confirmed saying that no balance due?
Why did not Samik get a call immediately or letter to his the then address intimating the dues in 2006 next payment due date saying to clear the due before card was canceled? How can a canceled card attract late payment fee?
Can Bank not give a call to customer immediately when it is due rather than giving call after years and all with the motive of intentionally piling up all kinds of nonsense charges just in order to grab money form customer by creating pressure and ill treating them ??????
Finally if any purchase transaction only is still due I will happily make the payment but not a penny more !!!!
Another glaring example of why HDFC Bank services are so unsatisfactory and well known !!!
