HSBC Bank Credit Card Renewal Fraud

    Angry HSBC Bank Credit Card Renewal Fraud

    Hello,
    I Nikita Dodiya, was holding credit card had got expired on December 2009 and HSBC has sent me renewal card without getting confirmation from my end. I was not aware about renewal of card and annual charges of the card. I got statement on Jan 2010 of rs 3000 and had contacted customer care service. Informed them to close my card and revert back my transaction. They ensured me to do so and close my card but didn’t revert back my amount. I started getting calls from Collection Department then again have contacted customer care service on 11th March. Again they ensured me to revert back my transaction. That’s why I didn’t bother to keep track of the account but again I started getting call from the collection department

    Now amount has become 8000rs outstanding and collection department telling me to pay 8000rs otherwise I would be listed in CIBIL.

    I am very disappointed with this behavior of HSBC. If I would have used the card on purchasing anything and then denying paying it could have make sense to me.

    But I have not used the card and not even requested for the renewal of the card then why should I pay the amount.

    I am holding credit card of 10 banks. You can check my records. I have never paid late payment fees or interest. Have not received complain from any bank as I am paying my credit card bills regularly.

    I have not done any fraud to HSBC bank or any other bank. You can check my CIBIL record. I was holding loan too, have paid that honestly without any damn complain from other banks.



    I didn’t understand policy of HSBC Bank which says to dispatch renewal card to loyal customer and charge with huge amount without getting confirmation or request from customer.

    Once customer care executive had committed to revert back my amount then why this has not happened yet and getting calls from collection department.

    Even I have the same story, I came to know about this only when I applied for home loan and my bank said as per my CIBIL report I had around 7600 amt pending towards one bank. Upon enquiry I came to know that HSBC has charged me this amount for card re-newal. I have currently paid this amount but will fight with the BANk shortly.

    Thumbs down CICI Lombard General Insurance

    Dear Sir/Mam,
    This complaint is about ICICI Lombard General Insurance,
    It was a plan that if health insurance holder of ICICI Lombard admitted for more than 10 days then company will give 1000 Rs for per day to holder which they called convellance benefit.
    My mom Reehana Mohammed Nawaz was hospitalized from 06 Aug 2010 to 21 Aug 2010 which was 15 days after that she discharged from hospital. And hospital bill was settled by ICICI Lombard, after that I called customer care of ICICI Lombard for my convellance amount of 15000 Rs then they told me I can give you max 10000 Rs only then I said OK to them. After that they said it will take a time for Doctor confirmation.

    Finally they got confirmation from Dr on 28th Aug 2010 again I called customer care for claim then they told me you will get your cheque within 7 Working days and now today is 12th November 2010 and I still not received the cheque of 10000Rs. Its almost more than two and half month in between I called 27th times to customer care every time they said sir we are extremely sorry you will get your cheque with in 7 days and now these 7 days become two and half month.

    When I asked the reason they replied me following reason
    1)Sir cheque was printed it will come to you next 7 working days
    2)Sir cheque was printed wrong
    3)Sir due to our back office mistake cheque got stuck for senior signature
    4)Sir you are the offline client but by mistakely cheque printed as a online client.
    5)Sir your cheque is almost ready my back office person will call you for address verification and never call yet when I confirm then one of the person told me we don't have a call back facility.
    6)Sir our server is down so cant check your status. Etc etc

    One and half month before when I called customer care at that time Mr Ravi was on line he told me your cheque was ready from 27 September 2010 and it will come to you within 7 Days and your cheque number is 98807 Amount is 10000 Rs with these details he also given me a reference number which is 220100125187/1 but after 7 days when cheque never comes to me then I again called to customer care then Mr Venu was on line he said sir give me the request number I said I have only reference number then venu said we never give any client any reference number we give only request number and which number you have thats wrong number then I am shocked whats going on then I said leave it boss and now give the status of my cheque the venu said yes your cheque is ready now I am mailing you complaint to our senior you will get your cheque in next 7 working days and then he given me request number which is 211010685.

    Then finally I received one message from ICICI Lombard on 11 November 2010 which was
    “We have dispatched your endorsed policy on Jun 11 2010 by FIRST FLIGHT vide AWB No ZB1930235 then I am shocked to see the date of dispatched because month was mentioned June then I called to FIRST FLIGHT customer care for confirmation they told me I don't have any courier of your AWB No then I called again on 12th Nov 2010 to ICICI Lombard customer care this time Trisha was on line she told me sir plz give me 3 working days of time ill check and try to resolve this thing asap.

    Now Sir I am very much irritated please try to solve this thing asap, details are below

    Hi,

    This can be collectively taken to court to prove that the bank is cheating peoples even I have the same case .

    There are couple of other peoples who are having the same issue it can be collectively put if you decide to fight against the bank.

    Hi,

    I had different story.. my credit card has been expired... they havent got any new credit cards.

    Not sure whether some one got my credit card and they started using it

    Default hsbc credit card fraud..

    I had taken the HSBC credit card in 2006 and it got expired in 12/2008.
    In 2007 I had taken one ploicy whose amount was auto debit with my HSBS credit card.
    I paid the money for all the transaction which happened upto 12/2008. In Dec 2010,suddently I got the call from HSBC that 1 transaction happened of 24k in sept 2009 for your policy and you need to pay the money of 50k.

    I told them my card got expired in 2008 then how the transaction can happen? They told me that even if ur card is expired but your account number is active.I asked them did u renewed the card after 2008,they told yes but that new card is also blocked.

    I again asked them if that card is also blocked then how the transaction happened.Then they gave the reason to me that even if ur card is blocked or expired then also online transaction is possible coz ur account is active.

    When I discussed the same scnerio with some other bank like ICICI and some other they told that in this case transaction is not possible and transaction should be failed.

    Please guide me on this case.IS HSBS cheating me?
