Dear Sir,

In year 2008-09 I was using HSBC gold credit card. In 2009 itself that card was expired and bank had sent me new card but I did not received it as I wanted to close that account and there were no outstanding on card that time. I have clearly mentioned bank that I do not want any credit card. This card has my old address and old phone no details (Pune).

In year 2010 I moved to Bangalore, and recently I have applied for New Car loan then through my credit report I came to know that I have some outstanding from HSBC bank.

Now, when I called bank and asked for details they said you have to pay 7551.49 as service charge.

I do not understand why I should pay this amount, considering I am not carrying any credit card from HSBC, although I do not remember the card details.

I have fetched the information from bank through my Name, DOB, email address and old office address. Also bank has not sent me any notification on my email Id which is still same.

As per bank my credit card no is: 4384 5999 8476 8449

Please look into this issue, and guide me what needs to be done.
