I had received call from HSBC in 2nd half of 2008 regarding credit card offer.Lady over call was very politly explaining details & also smartly she took my all details like name ,mothers name,birth date, address etc.Then we end our conversation on note that she will send me details on my e-mail id & after that i will let her know whether to send card or Not.
I got big shock after 10-15 days i got delivery of credit cards @ my home so prompt.Without filling a single form & signature credit card was here.Even more disturbing was when i received TATA AIG policy on that card 7 days latter ,Funny thing was this HSBC & TATA AIG persons collaboration was so good that they directly cut first EMI for policy from he CARD which i never asked for.
Since then i tried to contact HSBC for resolving the problem but no support at all.oen fine day one lady from HSBC called me asked for complaint & she guided me to resolve problem.She asked me to cut Card Diagonally with covering letter explaining all history.I did same sent Card to Chennai Office.Also latter i sent TATA AIG policies back to mumbai office.For some days i was very relaxed but then these HSBC guys was on my back to recover the money cut bu them for policy EMI which i never used.
I started receiving threatning call from HSBC recovery people using abusing language & threatning me to beat up.Then i filed complaint on HSBC website received response ,still went upto regional head.
But reply i got was more Interesting like a Joke! She replied me that HSBC has no signed document from me but they have so called Voice Record of me for Card.Its just horrible how can a well known bank like HSBC can lend a card with communication over a phone.
Till date they are showing some 50 to 60k due on my name which im not going to pay coz i have not even used single penny from that CARD.
Please help me in this matter to avaoid futher Problems.
