Sir,
I had made the payment of 31000 on 21/01/2010 (Transaction ID: M3200413, ICICI Bank Kazhakoottam Branch) as advised by Mr. Sathyanarayan M of ICICI Bank, Bangalore for the final settlement of my credit card 4477 4698 3182 2005.

But recently I noticed that the card is listed in CIBIL, and shows as write-off, even though I have paid back the entire amount as directed by ICICI bank official.

I’ve received an email confirmation for the final settlement from Mr. Sathyanarayan M on 21/01/2010. I didn’t receive a hard copy of the settlement letter to home address. I was told i will be receiving the letter of settlement within a week but it has been more than 8 months.


I’m in process of settling another credit card with ICICI bank itself. But I’m afraid even if I make the payment it won’t help me unless they update it the same in CIBIL.


Please take necessary steps, to remove the card listing from CIBIL.

I wrote an email to ICICI bank customer care mentioning this issue.
I'm happy to say that, Their response was quick enough and the issue got resolved within a week.

They have communicated the same to me via telephone.
