i'm a victim of their fraudulent activity.
In Dec 2009 myself called to the artha health option for membership, subsequently taken the member ship by giving my Credit Card no. They swiped and collected the money. After that I received the member ship details and vouchers. I thaught that further no more activities will take place.

After some time I received the some vouchers and one persone came to me and taken my signatures on charge slips. I thought there the matter ends.

But some time later one guy called introduced himself as Rajesh or Rakesh as Finance Manager, stating that I need to sign on some charge slips, but that time I told I have already sign on all the charge slip nothing sign. Then he is telling they swiped on some for 3999/- amount, I refused to sign on that, then he told that they know how to take money without my signature. That time I had a long chat with him and informed him I am going to complain.

Again in April I received a call from one guy stating that he is also stating as finance manager and I need to sign on some charge slips, and I asked him who is rajesh he told he is a sales guy, that time same thing happened earlier.

After disconnecting the phone I called to Artha Customer Care, Mrs. Muskan,responded and we had a long call after that she concluded that their guys did a mistake and they are unable to give my money back, so they will compensate with some other package given by artha, I said no, then she told that she talk to management and come back to me. That time she told that my balance is 17000/-. After her promise also again they swiped my Card.

But till now I haven’t received any call.Again Saturday(29th May 2010) I received a call from Artha stating that some charge slips are pending for sign, total cost is 28000/- then immediately I asked that guy to connect Muskan,he said that he can’t do that and asked to call directly to her and he got disconnected. Form that time onwards I am trying to reach artha, but invain. On Monday I tried to Call her, but she is not available and one more person came into picture she introdueced her self as Neha, Asst.Manager of CC. In our discssion she is telling that they have all the proofs as i accepted for swiping the card. After that she told that she going to send person with ful and final settlement letter. Next day one guy came and asked some signature. Blindely i signed on that without seeing any thing. Later i realised that its not full and final settlement letter.

Yester day again i received a call stating that this time they swiped for 13000/- with out my information. They are defending their self. Could anybody can save from this. Now the total amount they swiped is 40000/-

As a conclusion I am asking them please pay back my money, I did not use any of their vouchers till now I will return all which I received. This mental stress is unbearable.

(hi sai krishna i just went through your comment... i could only suggest you that if you dont mind is that possible to you to change the credit card to save your money... coz as you mentioned u have no clear picture who had spoken to you over the phone to you instead of leting them to threat you and use the credit card this is the option i feel. i am sorry if i am wrong ) For those who dont know, Using credit repair companies can help you mange your debt. ARTHA HEALTH OPTIONS: A FRAUD COMPANY

I am an Artha card holder since last 2 years. As of now, I do not have any problem with it.
My card has expired and on 7th Sept, 2010, I received a phone call from one of their executives.
He told me that because I am a card holder since last 2 years, they have a gold membership which costs Rs 3992 that covers 2 master health check ups and unlimited number of visits for one year.
I agreed to go for it and paid Rs 3992.

On 8th Sept, 2010, again I received a call from their office telling me that the remaining payment needs to be made. What remaining payment ???

Then they told me that the gold card costs Rs 9992 with a validity of 2 years.
But the salesman has not informed me about it.
This is totally wrong.

Anyway, after heated discussions, they extended the validity to 3 years and offered me to give a yearly vacation.
I agreed to it.

On 13 th Sept, 2010, they again called me and told that I need to pay Rs 19000 /- more for the gold membership.
Earlier whatever I paid (i.e. Rs 9992 /-) was for just the processing fee.


What is this ??
This is just non sense.
I immediately blocked my card so that they can not deduct any more money.

This message needs to be spread to all people.

Please file a police complaint against them or take them to consumer court! They have been pursing me for ages now and I have been avoiding them. But I'm concerned about so many of the other innocent people who fall for them.
