I have Manhattan Credit Card for last almost 2 years. When i was given the card, i was told it is life time free. So i continued to use the card and i was paying the dues on account of my purchases, Till May,11, there as ZERO Balance due from me. However, in the month of Jun,11, they have cahrged me Rs.999/- + Service Tax on account of annual fees. Thereafter they charged me late charges and started charging me Interest. No sooner i realised this, i stopped using my credit card. However, theie reminder mails / SMSs continued till today. In between i had called them on customer care number and explained which they asked me to mail it them. I mailed the entire details, however, still they are asking me to pay the dues. I have asked them to send someone to collect the credit card, however, even today, they send me a mail asking me to pay the dues and then only they can cancel the credit card. Even in my last two mails, i have written them not to harrase me else i will go to consumer court. Please let me now what should i do now?? Its really ridiculous and its mental harrassment.
