In spite of my repeated requests, the calls from HDFC Bank are not stopping. I have not taken any Credit Card from the bank nor I've made any transactions or stood as a guarantee. I got assured from the HDFC bank but again I get calls after 3 months. Now, Today 16/04/2011, I got a call (its some agency - 9886871830 on behalf of HDFC bank).This seems that they want to extract money somehow or the other. I'm totally fed up with this kind of attitude and now I've to take some kind of action. I JUST WANT MY NUMBER TO GET DELETED FROM THE DATABASE OF THE BANK AS I HAVE NOT PURCHASE A CREDIT CARD. As the number may get highlighted (as a blacklist) if I happen to have any transactions in future from this bank. I'VE EXPLAINED THIS THING MANY TIMES TO THE BANK AUTHORITIES PERSONALLY BY VISITING TO THE CREDIT CARD SECTION. I'VE EXPLAINED IN SUCH A WAY THAT A 5-YEAR OLD BABY CAN UNDERSTAND WELL. Please suggest what to do?

I've already posted this complaint on 20/july/2010 "A person who has not taken a Credit Card is harassed by the bank:
Yes, it's true. The Credit Card department from HDFC Bank is accusing me of taking a Credit Card. Some person(I don't know who is he, as I have not seen his photo) has taken the Credit Card from HDFC bank and he became a defaulter to the bank. He had given my Mobile # to them while applying for the HDFC Credit Card department. The name is different, address is different, and he gave his initial # also.
Frankly speaking, I don't know any the transaction which had taken place at that time nor I did not receive any clarification from the Bank authorities.
All of a sudden I got a call from HDFC bank stating that I had taken a Credit Card. And that person's name happens to be same as that of my friend’s name (he doesn't have any transaction from the HDFC bank). Hence, I gave his number. But, when I came to know it was from HDFC bank then, I became alert. Then, I personally called up to HDFC bank people and told them that "I AM NOT THE CUSTOMER OF THIS BANK NOR I DON'T WHO THAT XYZ IS AS I HAVE NOT SEEN HIS PHOTOGRAPH ALSO". And they're accusing me and harassing me and telling to pay the amount. I told them that since, the mobile # belongs to me from the past 3 years, and it is the responsible of the HDFC bank side to verify it at the time of selling the Credit Card.
Then, I sent an email to Credit Card Customer Support team, requesting them to remove my # from their database. But, who will listen any clarifications from a innocent and honest person. After, couple of days, I got a call from HDFC bank on September 2008 from a legal advisor to the bank. And she wanted to inquire about friends whose names are XYZ (name won’t be reveal because of privacy). When, I gave the name then, she told that “this is the person who has taken the Credit Card”. But, unfortunately he is NOT. But when I visited HDFC bank, a very next day, I met one of their staff members, and he gave me an assurance that my mobile # will be deleted from the database ( after giving my address proof).
After, some days I got a call again from them and when I told this what has happened they’re saying that they won’t consider it at all. That was on June last year. Again I went to the bank and gave an explanation right from the scratch. At that time also they assured me that it will be delete.
But, unfortunately that was not done. Because, this May, I received a call and they’re asking different names and harassing me.
What was the mistake I’ve done? I don’t know the person because and I have not even seen him. Even, if I know him also, I don’t know the transaction which had taken place between him and so called “esteem” HDFC Bank. Apart from that, I personally visited and requested them to delete my #, then why the HELL they’re not deleting it?
In spite of repeated request they’re not bother to consider my request, nor listen, nor behaving properly. And I’m sorry to say this, the person who had represented from HDFC bank called misbehaved to my father also and she doesn’t have the manners how to speak to an elderly person.
AND AT HDFC BANK THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL.
IF A PERSON FROM HDFC BANK IS READING THIS THEN, BROTHER; I’M SORRY TO SAY THIS THAT YOU’RE BANK(I’m referring to two or there employees) DOESN’T KNOW BASIC MORAL VALUES, EITQUITE, TRAITS AND PROFESSIONALISM.
I’m not a customer of this bank and I’ve been harassed without any involvement. What is the solution for this?

After all this harassment and trauma should I opt for HDFC bank services or allow others for this?
I’m planning NOT to take Credit Card in my entire life nor allow others to take it?
My only request is to delete my contact # from the Credit Card database and apologize to my dad.
The HDFC Bank Credit Card Department is located at Richmond road (previously domlur, old Airport road), Bangalore, Karnataka". And on 15/december/2010 "This is with the reference to "A person who has not taken a Credit Card is harassed by the bank:" which was posted on 20/July/2010. I've sent an email also on the same day. I've been assured that I'll not be getting calls after couple of days.
I've been repeatedly requesting that I'm not the customer of the HDFC bank right from June 2008.
Again I received a call on Monday 13/12/2010 (from Santosh - 8971189892. He gave # of manager at Rajajinagar Branch. However, the # is not working. Now, I don't want to speak to any manager or a concern person as the mistake is done by your bank authorities it has to be sorted out any cost. I don't need anymore assurance from the phone. I need to see my number gets deleted.
Earlier, I've been harassed, misbehaved, and nobody is following the professionalism."
