It started in the month of June 2008 on my card no 5415 3812 1127 7912 and loan on card. Loan no 7777 7777 7261 1900 when I requested bank for the closure of my ABN AMRO credit card and the loan which was running over the card.

Bank's collection agency called me and we agreed on an amount for settlement.

Bank sent me the settlement letter from the collection agency and I made the payment for both (Credit card and loan on the card) through cash and cheque in the month of July end and Sep 2008.

After more than 10 months, bank contacted me and said they have not received the payment and I sent the scanned copy of receipts and settlement letter.

Again after few months I got the call and this time I faxed the documents.

I sent emails with proof to ABN AMRO highest authorities.

This kept happening till the point they started saying we dont care if paid or not, you have to pay now a sum of 20000 which is now Rs. 28,355.14.

They kept on calling me despite of me explaining and sending the proof that I have made the payment and they abused me over the phone, threatened to send goons at my home, threatened to take legal against me and alot of mental torture and harassment.

Also they have ruined my credit history in CIBIL due to which I can never take any kind of loan or credit card.

Its been more than 2 years and they are still sending me emails and calling me.

In the last call which I received on 13th of Jan 2011, they called me fraud, abuse me and threatened to take me to court.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
