I have two issue with SBI Cedit card

1) I had made a transaction of Rs 40,000 on Jan 13.
Before and after making this transaction i had confirmed with SBI that Rs 35000 can be converted to 24 Months EMI.
I was able to convert this to by SBI Agent on 14 Jan 2012.
Now after Statement got generated on Jan 15 2012 they are claiming only Rs 26000 can be made.
Before statement got generated NO ONE from SBI informed this challenge.
If they would have informed this issue to me on Jan 13,i would not have used this card.
Now i have been forced to bear this amount without any reason.
I tried to get reference number for calls that i had made with SBI Custome care on Jan 13,but SBI is not providing details.
I am just wondering how three agents can provide same details that Rs 35000 can be converted that too mistake

Now SBI came to realize this mistake when statement got generated that only Rs 26000 can be converted.

How can we trust SBI agents now on as Banks are disowning them every now and then.

I have confirmation from Supervisor(Ref#0110170010643) on Jan 18 2012 that first issue will not be honoured.


2) There is an Existing Cash ON call fo EMI of Rs.2756.25.

As per confimation with SBI Officer on Jan 10 2012(110100009338) i have transfered Rs 43261 out of which 13722 should have been adjusted with preclosing above EMI.

I had requested another EMI Rs 1612 to be preclosed which was done without any issues with the same amount.

This has not been done.

The amount has come in statement.



SBI have a very rigid Customer care which will always penalize for mistake of agents on Customers.


I fear contacting SBI Customer care as any interactions or commitments from agents are never honoured most of the time by Bank.

I am not asking extra from SBI but just to honour their customer care commitment povided to me.

This is a mental agony always fighting to save our money from SBI who charges without proper information to Customer.

Sadly Second Level(services.sbicard@ge.com) and Third Level (ddhody@ge.com)escalation never work in SBI.

Say your prayers and then wait only Miracle can save you from SBI Cards.

I am quite shocked that in bank supported by Govt,they have NO grievance redressal mechanism.

Sadly i have not recieved any email back from Customer care till date
