    Angry SBI Credit Card Complaint

    Hi All,

    It was really shocking as well as frustating for a customer holding the credit card of SBI Bank for close to two years.

    I had got a refund from the merchant Future Bazar for a DVD player on the 1st April , 2010 and my credit card payment due date was 4th April , the customer service rep mentioned that I need to make the payment as the refund was not showing up in my account .

    Payment was made and subsequently the refund got reflected on the same day .There was no communication from the bank side even after calling them for the same issue , the reps mentioned that it will take 7 days to reflect on the bank.

    Even after 7 days it did not get reflected on my bank ie not SBI credit card but the hdfc bank from where I had made the payment for sbi credit card.

    Calling the reps again they mentioned that excess balance got adjusted with my current transactions and that I will not get a refund.

    There is a provision for refund but I will ot get as there was a delay on my part to inform the sbi credit card people that I needed a refund and not an adjustment to my current purchases.

    I kept on writing emails to them but it seems they have become reluctant to reply me back .

    I get calls from different reps mentioning the same ie your amount has been adjusted and money cannot be refunded back and one of the rep even hangs up my call telling me the same .

    Escalating the issue to the AVP's have also not helped me .There was no response either from them.

    I have a very good credit history so far , never failing to make payments on the due date yet bank seems to be in doubt whether I will pay my next month's bill or not hence once they got the excess amount like a demon they have gulped it without our consent or acknowledgement .

    I want my money to be refunded and not adjusted and the bank is not bothered about the customer satisfaction but they are adamant on the part that it cannot be refunded.

    Default Sbi credit card

    Hi All,

    I am a victim of holding SBI Credit Card, inspite of every payment done on or before the due date.

    I was not in town when the transaction took place, as soon as I got my statement, I immediately called SBI bank and requested them about the transactions (Rs. 5000 and Rs. 2000) both transaction were made at the same Marchant M/s. Oxygen Infovision Pvt. Ltd., I did whatever they asked me to do send the Dispute Form, e-mails etc., My complain has been registered and each e-mail I receive, I should bear with them, as the investigation is going on.

    One of their representative very rudely told me that you will not get your refund back, you have to pay the money since you have made the transaction. It was very shocking, because he was dead sure that I made the transaction, inspite of telling him that I was not in Mumbai. I keep sending e-mails and they reply the same.

    All my office colleagues are worried, 3 of them are going to discontinue with their cards.


    I have heard that one Mr. Rajeev Ranjan (Asst. Manager ) Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd., has also been duped by the same merchant M/s. Oxygen Infovision Pvt.

    Can somebody help us ? This kind of cheating should be stopped.

    Question Victim of not having card and getting calls of recovery agents

    Hi
    I am never ever had a credit card of SBI in my life!
    From last couple of month I used to get call from the recovery agency saying that I had 1,70,000/- balance against the credit card! How do I get over this case!

    Angry Payments

    I have SBI card no 4317575175647313 and have been making regular payments for years.
    n Oct 2009 the bank decided to just go ahead and block my card. I continued making payment for more than a yr. I even asked them to convert my balance into EMI, I did not get any help.

    My payment due date was the 27th of every month. I asked them to review it and change it to the the last day of the month to avoid late payment fees as I made online payment as soon as my salary came in my account. I was informed by one of the collections people in Feb-Mar 2010 that they will will change it to the 7th of the next month, but nothing happened.

    I continued to make payment till Nov 2010 and then stopped. I have requested the to reverse the late payment fee on my account since Jan 2010, as they continued to charge me the std interest rate, blocked my Credit Card despite making payments. I have been approached b the collection team to do a settlement for Rs 12500 or so...that is the amount that was due before Nov 2010. They have just reversed the charges since Nov 2010. But have done nothing about my previous complaint.

    Angry dispute transaction

    This has to inform I am holding SBI Credit card for last 6 years & have a good association with SBI CARD. I want to inform you that on 28.03.11 I have recd one telephone call from Heritage Holiday Pvt Ltd stating that they have provide exclusive offer to SBI Card member and explain some scheme for me with a agreement that they have send the offer to my address and if it is ok than it should accepted by me & billed the transaction to my credit card. But it has been observed that they have taken payment by IVR process with some false commitment. Same day I informed to customer care executive to cancel that payment and send one Dispute form by fax & email.

    Dear sir It is my humble request to you that cancel that transaction of Rs. 4545 on 28/3/11 on Heritage Holiday as the deal was not as per the commitment made by them.

    As I am using this card for a long time & good relation with SBI card . I want to maintain same association in future also but this incident trouble me a lot & if not resolved than may think for alternates. Therefore I request you kindly look into this matter and do the needful
