Dear Sir,
I am a victim of holding SBI credit card. Pl read the story of a loyal customer of SBI credit card which I was holding for 5 years, making each and every payment on or before due date. This may make you reconsider, if a bank, specifically SBI deserves any kind of loyalty. The day, i.e. Feb’21st brought quite a rude shock to me, when I received 3 SMS one by one of 3 transactions of amount Rs. 9999.00, Rs. 5000.00 & Rs. 2000.00 claimed to have been done using my SBI Card. I was completely appalled and numb as the transactions were not made by me. While I was immediately trying in vain to contact SBI customer care (SBI customer care executives will not be available on Sunday and in week days they will be available only 9:00 am to 5:00 pm but they will definitely claim of being 24 hrs customer services. Pure example of public sector banking!), I received a verification call from SBI card for the transactions mentioned above. Relieved, I explicitly denied those transactions and asked the bank to cancel it and block the card immediately. Thereafter I checked the unbilled transactions online and found that there were total 6 unauthorized transactions, three were of Rs.1.00 each and other 3 as mentioned above. All the transactions were made at the same merchant M/s Oxygen Infovision Pvt. Ltd. I took out the statement highlighting those unauthorized transactions and mailed to the SBI Card Customer Care providing all the details of the unauthorized transactions made through my card and requested them to take the necessary action urgently. Next day, i.e. Monday I called up SBI customer care to find about the status of my request regarding those transactions. I was asked to wait till the merchant makes its claim and informed that only after the merchant’s claim, I could raise the dispute form after which investigation could take place. They didn’t listen to my persistent request for withholding payment to the merchant. I asked also for making police complaint but they told not to do so as their investigating team would investigate the matter. After that I raised the dispute form as suggested by SBI and mailed them on 01.03.10. I was contacted them regularly but their reply always came as my complain was under investigation. Finally on 06.04.10 they replied by sending the charge slips of those unauthorized transactions for confirmation. It showed the transaction being made by some Arun Saxena for E-wallet recharge using Oxygen Infovision for a mobile number, which I never came across. Neither have I done any wallet recharge kind of thing in my lifetime nor is Mr. Arun Saxena, who has done those transactions is related to me by any means. Therefore I replied them back on 07.04.10 once again denying the authtencity of those transactions. Later on I received a letter from the customer service dept., saying that the transactions were genuine and the liabilities lied with cardholder for these transactions. It was extremely shocking for me as it was beyond my all understandings that even after my so many complains (through mails and calls) & their acknowledgement for the same, how such a reputed PSU could serve me such letter. Their proposition was that as the transactions had been authorized through VbV (Verified by Visa) and thus liability lied with cardholder. Anyway I pleaded one step higher i.e. to Head, SBI Card to intervene but of no use. After repeatedly contacting them and putting my case they have come with the same reply adding that though they understand my concern but liabilities lied with the cardholder only and therefore I shall have to pay the required amount. So this is what I have received in return from SBI for being such a loyal customer as to not use any other card and making all payments regularly. Now I am in a situation, where I really don’t know what to do? And where to plead? This is the only forum where I can expect justice. Thanking You, Regards, Rajeev Ranjan Asst. i,sri niranjan behra bearing sbi card no 5264685324295508 facing problem regarding blocking of card while booking air tickets on 29th august.i have tried three times in 'goindigo.com' website due to which i m unable to pay for air tickect.so,kindly resolve the problem as as soon as possible,and convey the present status of my card on/before 30 august 2k10.

Dear sir i nandiraju.krishnarao my credit card no 5101-2869-2512-3988 i am droped cheque in SBI chandanagar branch cq no 27689 icici bank, chandanagar dt 29-11-10 Rs 700/-droped on 29-11-10 but not debited in my account,where is my cheque pl intimate to me

dear sbi, i had called 10 times to your call center regarding unfair transaction, for bsnl bill, and lic premium, complaints they are not replying any calls. i want to stop my sbi card account. Dear / sir Iam a prompt payer but few months ago i was not well so i could not make the payment and i forgot and the bank also dint send me the statement and at last after 2 months i again started to use the card but transaction decline then i called the customer care at that time they informed me that your card is blocked i told ok what i have to do they told me that usage amount of 1000/- change and 2 month late payment fee i told them what amount i had utilized i am ready to pay but they refused so at the 3rd month again i called the customer care they told me to pay Rs.3022/- and told me that Rs.700/- will be the discount we can give and your card is blocked & cancelled you pay the amount and after 5 months you give us a call that time we will decide to give you the card or not so what I should do please help me I cannot pay what they told me to pay because the customer care told me that for small amount we don’t send the statement my SBI Card Account number 5264685320778945 Amar Singh please call me on 9880063683 |

Hi,
I am got my Duetsche bank Credit Card in the year 2007 and was paying all my dues on time without any delay. In the January 2010, DB came up with a plan to redeem credit card point for Free Jet Airways Domestic Ticket for which I applied and the poitn were deducted and the they had sent me a promo code which was in valid. For which I was patient enough to call the call center from January 2010 to June 2010 on ISD as I was aboard during that time with no serious improvement. I have sent mails after mail saying that the promo code sent to me was invalid in spite of which DB maintained that it was valid and they also considered that I havent used it and it is valid. Since this was not working out I then requested them to reinstate the deducted credit point, so that I use the point for something else. For which the customer care officer after hours of dliberation came back saying that this is not possible for a customer who is using their card for almost 3 years. I got annoyed and I asked them to close the card and on the call I had mentioned I will deduct reasonable amount in lieu of the points deducted for the purpose of Free Air Ticket (Docmestic) and also for the points that I had been holding in the credit card at the time of closure becuase of the poor service of DB. I settled my dues after adjusting my balance with respect to the amount of nominal Air Ticket and a nominal amount for the credit points that I was holding at the time of closure. Recently I learnt that the DB has updated my credit history in CIBIL that I have not paid my dues on time and as though I am a defaulter. In this respect I would like to sent repeated mails to DB saying that provifr if DB were to reinstate all the credit point as it was I can continue banking for which DB is not accepting and they are saying that the card has been closed and hence this cannot be done. I dont know if this is the cutomer service that DB can provide for a faithful customer like me. I though this is the right forum to raise my compalint on DB for being unfair to me. Sir Usually you will send the statement on every month by courier to my residential address regularly. Since Sept 2011 neither send statement nor contact by letter communications. Moreover i will get SMS as soon as you sent the statements and inform me also total balance and minimum balance to be sent. W e are not so young to go through all communications by net work. So please arrange to send statements from Sept.and Nov. of this year. Hope that you will be able to do it immediately Tks |
