I want to report 2 fraudulent transactions which were conducted on my Citi Bank credit card no. 5189 3693 4381 9018.

On 2nd March 2010, at around 10:30 pm, I received SMS that there were transactions of Rs.9,999/- each in favour of M/s OXIGEN INFOVISION PVT. LTD. During that time, I was in my office doing a night shift and I was in physical possession of my card.

Immediately I called the Citi Bank customer care and disputed the charges. I specifically mentioned to the executive that I am in physical possession of the concerned credit card and I did not do any transaction nor did I share any information of the credit card with
anybody. The executive informed me that there were indeed two transactions of Rs.9,999/- each in favour of Oxigen Infovision and the first transaction was an unsecured transaction no. 75425310062680102000219 and the 2nd transaction was a secured transaction no. 75425310062680102000060.

I immediately cancelled my credit card and was issued a new card with no. 5189 3694 2012 8549. He gave me the following dispute reference nos.

The ref.no. for 1st dispute is I1003050137 and the ref.no. for 2nd dispute is I1003050140.

I received credit of Rs.9,999/- for the first transaction but did not receive credit for the 2nd disputed amount of Rs.9,999/-.

I faxed and couriered the dispute claim forms to your office on 10th March 2010. I was informed that the investigation will be done and I would be updated with results of the investigation conducted within 60 DAYS.

Then in the month of April 2010, I received second credit of Rs.9,999/- for the second disputed transaction. At that time the call was handled by one Mr. Harsh Mehta. He informed me that the credit was issued to me and I need not pay any amount against both the disputed transactions. This shows that the issue was resolved and should have been closed.

However, while checking my account online ON 10th Feb. 2011, I found that my account has again been debited with the amount of Rs.9,999/- for Oxigen Infovision and the credit has been reversed. I called the Customer Care and they informed me that one credit has been revoked and that I would need to pay the amount of Rs.9,999/- (the issue which was
supposed to have been closed in April 2010).

The agent also informed me that the transaction was authenticated by a password. HOWEVER, IRONICALLY, I DO NOT HAVE ANY PASSWORD FOR ANY MY CREDIT CARDS. Please note that in the past, TWICE I had performed online transactions with my credit card 5189 3694 2012 8549, and I was REQUIRED to enter in my Suvidha account debit card details for completing the transactions.

The Bank is not acknowledging the fact that it is easy for the hacker to gain access to my credit card details and perform online transactions.

I would request you to kindly help me investigate the matter and get the details about the fraudulent transactions and reverse the charges on the account.

Thanks & Regards,
