I am holding a credit card of axis bank with no- 4718 6100 0329 2340.
I made a transaction on internet at amway india site for Rs 19422. for this amount i received the bill on 10 may 2011 with due date 30 may 2011. so i paid this bill from my brother's PNB a/c no 17830001013022360 on 27 May 2011 through internet banking. immediately a transaction confirmation SMS received on my brother's registered mobile no. so I was relaxed as payment went successfully.
but on 10 june 2011, i received another bill from axis bank with due amount of Rs 21,786. I was amazed to see this. they said ur last payment we have returned due to some reason n late payment fee, interest n all penalties(altogether Rs 2364)they charged on me.
now sir how i am on fault..?
if they returned my payment, they should intimate me about it. if PNB receved the money back, they also should send sms about this credit. but both the bank kept quite.
I have sent 7 mails to them in which i requested for reversal of these charges, but they are rigid to their decision 'not to reverse'.
at the same time, axis bank instructed its recovery agent to create pressure on me for immediate payment.
so i am receiving calls daily 3-4 times with all type of dirty languages from their agent.
I told them, if u reverse the excess penalties, balance amount Rs 19422 I will pay immediately. but they r not agree for anything.
so its my humble request to please help me out from this situation.as they created a huge mental pressure on me, they must be instructed to pay me compensation of Rs 1 Lakh for mental agony.
