Dear Sir/Madam,

I had hired Mary immaculate school grounds, Mt. Poinsur, Borivali West for my wedding dated 17/12/2011. I had paid INR 37,250 to one Mr. Godwin who handles & undertakes bookings for the above said ground.Out of the above amount 5000 rs was supposed to be refunded but they say they arent going to refund it as some of the guests had bought alcohol which me & my family weren't aware off & the caretakers have no proof to proove the same.

Moreover on the afternoon of 17th dec 2011 i recieved from the Mr. Godwin ststing thet the caterers will not be allowed inside the ground if another additional INR 7000 will not be given. Out of this 7000, 5000 was again a refundable deposit & Rs 2000 is supposed to be a non refundable royalty towards the school.

As 17th was my wedding i had to send my friend to pay the additional rs 7000. When i received the receipt for the same, it mentioned that the Rs 2000 was paid as donation/charity & not as royalty.

The additional cost details were mentioned in the receipt of the intial Rs 37,250 that i had paid.
Mr. Godwin has agreed to pay only Rs 5000 deposit back to us from the additional 7000 that was given to us. However he does not wish to pay the Rs 5000 deposit that was given to him from the Rs 37250 that we had given him.

A humble request please, Please check what was the royalty for & if royalty of rs 2000 was paid why was a donation receipt given to me. Moreover Why we were not informed about our guests getting alcohol, wherein we could have clearly stopped them & the question of getting our Rs 5000 deposit back wouldn't have risen.

All in all we should get back
Rs 5000 (from the 7000 paid on 17th dec 2011)
Rs 5000 (from the 37250 paid for hiring the ground)
RS 2000 (paid as royalty but a donation receipt was given to us)
