Had applied for admission for my daughter in an IB school- later decided not to go for it as she got admission in a better school. But had deposited 60000 as the prescribed fee. This was done before the session started and the particular seat went to some other child. Recently read a news item where a consumer court has ruled that in case the student does not attend a single class the fee has to be refunded by the educational institution- its been almost a year that this happened- the above ruling has encouraged me to ask the school back for my hard earned money- should i go ahead with it and send them a notice?
