it would be unfair for those students who have given aieee 2011 on 01/05/11
those students appearing on 08/05/11 will have more time to study and will have greater knowledge about the exam pattern .something should be done for this
again the exam should be conducted for all students to give equal treatment to all otherwise its unfair

I do not agree with this. No re-test should be conducted, we would be very difficult for those students who had their centers too far from their home. It would be more harashment for all students and money problem for poor students.

this is totally unfair because our counselling will be done on the basis of two different papers
and if the paper on 08/05/11 comes easy then cutoff would go higher and it will become a problem for us who gave exam on 01/08/11
and i dont think so money is greater than our future!

Angry Aieee should reconduct the exam

this is totally unfair ...... the exam must be reconducted , cbse can not judge the rank of students with two different sets of paper, the students giving exam on 8th will be having more knowledge than those who gave on 1st. they have got more time and now know that exam will be of 360 marks .... we all suffered a hot noon over our head for 3 hours outside the centres, we gave the exam in extreme conditions.

the paper must be re conducted otherwise it would be just like playing with the future of 12 lakh students...

Angry aieee should re conduct the exam

the management re conduct the exam otherwise we will be the one who will suffer, the management shouldn't play with our life..........student who are giving exam on 8th may are more mentally prepared and in studies than us they get extra time but when we enter the examination hall we are totally frustrated and didn't able to give our 100% in the exam..

Lightbulb there's be a scene on the 8th

first of all they shouldn't have conducted the exam on the 1st. Many students were through with 1hr of the paper at 9a.m. when they were told that the paper has been leaked.
so not only had they been exhausted, but the mental torture to give the paper from scratch had a negative influence on their performance.

many other students had to wait for 3 hrs under the scorching heat to give the exam at 12.

At one of the centers at panchkula, the paper was distributed to the students at 12.15, AND they were not given extra 15min. Yes! their papers were collected at 3 only. 15min is a lot. 15min = 10 questions of chemistry i.e. 40 marks.

Moreover, before the exam was going to start at 12, students were corresponding through their mobiles about any announcements/news. Now, the students whose papers got rescheduled on the 8th, since their centers were holding the AFMC exam, (mind you, many of these students weren't giving the AFMC exam) obviously told their friends that the paper is canceled. So many students who gave the exam were in a state of mental confusion about why their paper has not been canceled and whether this paper would hold any importance too.

As other people have suggested, there'll surely be a strife/protest on the 8th. For the students who performed bad in the test on the 1st will say that the paper on the 8th was easy.
And the students who will perform bad in the test on the 8th will say that the paper on the 1st was easy.

to avoid this simple confusion, there's a simple solution.
A retest for all the students on the same date and timings so that an unbiased platform is provided for all students.

As a student, i don't personally care about how much inconvenience the CBSE department would have to go through for scheduling a retest, because on the first hand it was their primary responsibility to make sure papers dont get leaked, which create inconvenience for the students.

    Angry Aieee rescheduled

This is matter of regret and its very unfair. Students who will give exam on may 8 will get the following advantages:-
    1. they will 7 days extra time for preparation.
    2. they got to know the question pattern ie. 4 marks each, only one option correct and assertion-reasoning type.
    3. they got to know the difficulty level of each subject of each subject- one of the major advantage bcoz cbse told to set questions of same difficulty level. so they will prepare the easiest section properly n score gud ranks.
    So, its completely unfair...........
Please Sir vineet Joshi........ Conduct the exam for all again for the sake of students career..........

Angry Horrifying decision from position holders......

I was very surprised to know about the decision of rescheduling the exam only for some...how can such people can make such worthless decisions.in my believe the cbse aieee paper can't be leaked without the assistance of someone from cbse itself.its not our fault the paper was leaked why are we suffering.the exam should be conducted for all otherwise mr. Vineet joshi you are not capable of sitting at such a pure position .though in your view you are helping the ones who had not given the exam on 1 may but they all may not be the true sufferers and in this way you are helping those too.we too had great difficulty waiting outside under bright sun and then too we gave the exam .also that postponing affected us adversely and most of us could not give our best.so. Initially its a request and it won't take much time to become a protest against you.so beaware as time is running very fast.............................................. ..

    Unhappy aieee re-exam

Please help a lot of students by raising our issue of aieee re-paper for all the students. How will be it possible for aieee to compare ours performance on basis of two diferent papers. After news of the paper being leaked there was a confusion all over and many students went back home and left the paper that day.i request you all to help us convince cbse to take a fresh examination of all the students whether they have given or not the paper that day.
it's mine and everybody's request to take re-exam of all the students.........

    Default Crime by CBSE

    Dear All

One crime has been perpetrated by some gang by leaking the paper. Another crime is going to be committed by the CBSE officials against the candidates by having different standards for the two tests one on 1 May and another on 11 May. The children who suffered the scorching Sun in the midst of summer and struggled on the test cannot be comapred with those who will take the take the test on 11th. Now, the question pattern is also out. The second lot of candidates will have great advantage. This is sheer injustice

    Angry Injustice Unlimited

CBSE people have gone crazy. Why are they playing with the lives of children? How can they have two different tests for a common ranking ? Law does not permit such an arrangement. Legal action is needed against CBSE.

    Default Cruel Decision

It is a cruel decision to have two different tests under different circumstances. It has to be uniform. The only way to stop this madness is to file a PIL in an appropriate court of law. Let us mobilise support from all concerned and force the CBSE to change its decision.

    Default AIEEE Test Rescheduled

Copy of mail sent by me to CBSE Chairman and Secretary on 2 May 2011

    Dear Sir

My son has appeared for the AIEEE test at Ranchi on 1 May 2011. You may be knowing the harrowing experience of the candidates who are 17/18 year olds spending three long hours under the scorching Sun outside the school campus. As academicians, you all know that the candidates need to have examination temporament. That was precisely lost during the long wait outside the schools in the midst of summer. Some of the candidates had to go back to the places of nearby relatives. In the absence of a proper communication by the school initially, these candidates reached late for the test. Although, they were allowed to take the test, they had, by that time missed out on time. Kindly try to put yourselves in the shoes of parents.

A second test for a few candidates on 11 May means inequality. By this time, the question pattern is already known. Total marks are already known. Those who will appear on 11 May will have extra 10 days for preparation with the new question pattern. Apart from this, the mental condition of the candidates will be definitely better. Is it desirable and is is going to weigh the candidates on a common yardstick to have a common all India ranking? Do these things conform to the principles of natural justice?

I request you to kindly allow the test for all the candidates again, so that principles of natural justice are followed.

    Thanking you

    Yours faithfully

Thumbs down Conduct re test for all AIEEE students.

I am a student who appeared for the AIEEE'011on may01,as all knows the exam was postponed 3hrs due to leak,I dont know why no one has complained about the quality of this replacement paper, there are many questions printed with mistakes, and now they are going to conduct another exam for some 32,000 students on may11 2011,This is not fair & is unequal, the question pattern is already known. Total marks are already known. Those who will appear on 11 May will have extra 10 days for preparation with the new question pattern.I request the support of all students to conduct a re test for all students applied for AIEEE.
