hi,I am doing BE degree from HKBK College of Engineering,Bangalore.I am of 2006 batch.I finished my second year but in my third year,i got year back as i failed in 9 subjects.To go to fourth year I have to clear at least 5 subjects.Now i had cleared 5 subjects but college has closed my branch and they are not transferring me to other college.They just saying that they will give me my certificates and i have to go to other college for admission moreover i am elligible for final year but college saying i have to clear all subjects(that is against vtu norms).When i visited other colleges for admission,they asking token money of around 1 lac,1.5 lac or 2 lac in addtion to tution fees and all subjects cleared for admission in final year.
I went to Visvesvaraya Technical University Regional Office to inform them about it,they said they cannot do anything,i have to negotiate with my college management,but in 2009 some of my batch mates got year back and they were transferred to BMS College of Engineering without any token money as VTU vice chancellor interferred.I reminded that to my college and even at VTU regional Office,but they are neglecting it and saying those students had given token money(donation).
