I had taken admission in MSc(CS) course from MDU(Distanc Education). The study center through which i took admission examined my papers and told me that i was eligible for lateral entry admission. When i insisited them to confirm the same from the university, i was informed and told that they have confirmed and told me that they will process the application. I agreed and took the admission in October 2009 on their confirmation that no problem would arise. However, after 2 months, i was told that my application was rejected basis Non Eligibility. Since Januray 2010, i have been trying to contact the institute and university for a refund of Rs 10800 but everyime i havebeen told tht the refund will be processed in one month, but till now, no refund has been issues to me. I have been continously trying to contact the institue, but they have stopped picking my calls. I also tried contacting the university without getting a solution to my problem. It has been almost 1 year, and still i m waiting for my refund. Can you please guide me what legal action can be taken against the study center and university for this kind of actions. I would highly appreciate a response to this question.
