I sincerely request you to pay attention to my problem which has become a major problem for others too.

On 28th Jun 2011, through a Learning Centre of Sikkim Manipal University in Dehradun, I had applied for admission in MBA program (3rd Sem – Lateral Entry) to Sikkim Manipal University, Directorate of Distance Learning and deposited Rs. 19000/- fees at Learning Centre, IAIT Dehradun (Code : 1004) under a receipt no. RA84648 dated 28/06/2011.

Now, due to some personal problems, I am not in a condition to pursue MBA and therefore
on 13th Jul 2011, I called up the representative of Learning Center and requested to inform the University ‘Not to Enroll’ my application.
On 18th July 2011, I wrote a letter to Learning Centre for withdrawal of my admission & refund of fees thereof but they refused to receive my application and advise me to contact the university directly. Also, as I learnt from Learning Centre that my application was not enrolled and showing the status ‘PENDING’. Then I Posted that application to the Learning Centre through ‘SPPED POST’ and also did correspondence directly with Registrar of SMU.

On my request for acknowledgement Registrar, SMU informed me on 25/07/11 through e-mail quoting “I am in receipt of your email. the same is under verification.”
I have sent 3 reminders till now.
On 20th Aug 2011 I received e-mail from Registrar SMU quoting “ The refund is in process. LC will receive communication in this regard, shortly. Please get in touch with LC after one week.
While I contacted Learning Centre on 06 Sept 2011 (i.e. after 15 days of receipt of above e-mail) Learning Centre refused any such information.

Now I have again requested Registrar of SMU for early refund of my fee. But reply is still awaited.

My financial condition is not good. This is a huge amount for me, I am very dissappointed and in a miserable condition.
