I have applied for M.Sc. Geinformatics in Sikkim Manipal University through Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, New Delhi. I have despatched the Demand Draft for Rupees eight thousand only (Rs. 8000.00) of ICICI Bank No. 658735 dated 28 Oct 2010 towards the admission fees and I received the receipt for the same vide receipt no. 1733 dated 15 Nov 2009. Since then I have not received any formal announcement saying i have been admitted for M. Sc. Geoinformatics Course. After that date whenever i enquire about the admission, i get the reply saying the form for admission has not yet been received by the Institute. I have talked with lot many Official personnel Namely Jaya, Anita SIngh, Ranjana, they tell me that the same old story that they have not received the forms from university. I talked to University Admission Officer, Mr. Mahesh, i got the reply that the MoU between the University and Institute is under review. So far i have not yet been admitted nor the fees are refunded. The telephone numbers of IIEE are 01129535079 and 09818024726. Whenever i asked for the seniormost or the In-Charge for my grievance, i was directed to one of the lady mentioned above. Since Dec 2009 i have been regularly calling on above numbers through my mobile no. 09422415721. Because of which i have lost my precious academic year which otherwise i have took admission in other university and fulfilled my Post Graduation ambition. The people in the institute also informed me that i should wait for another one month. Because of such answers i have also lost an opportunity for promotion as well as an excellent opportunity of job of higher pay.
In view of the above it is requested that the Institute be directed to reimburse my fees as well pay me the compensation towards the phone bills, loss of excellent career opportunity and promotion.
