Many students including me have to be considered as victims of The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R medical university,guindy,Chennai.My complaint is about the exorbitant fee being plundered from students for any kind of certificates or documents requested.I had a bad experience last time with this university regarding transcripts.They are demanding 1000 Rs. per transcript which seems to be very unreasonable price.While the rest of the universities are just asking for a nominal average fee of about 50 Rs per transcript this university is asking very huge amount.One more thing is that I recently visited the university website and to my surprise I have noticed that transcript fee has been increased to 2000 Rs.Are they educatiing students or else doing business.Another thing is that they are charging Rs 300 for attestation of each mark sheet.Lets say total 4 marksheets (ex.B.pharm graduates)for 4 years cost 1200Rs. which is very unfair.Its a shame on the university and seems like the university is trying to recover from its bankruptcy.
