Subject: Recovery of Rs 100000=00 deposited in relation to admission at IBS-Mumbai
    (MBA programme, 2010-12).

    Sir/ Madam

This is to inform you that I Jainis Dubey got selected for PGPM programme this
year in ICFAI and got IBS- MUMBAI branch. My admit card Number is 312216 I would
like to draw your attention towards following facts that I applied for education loan in
SBI Agra branch but SBI refused to it as IBS-Mumbai is not approved
from AICTE and also last year’s strike done by ICFAI students all over ICFAI centres
in India demanding AICTE approval of ICFAI institutions hence I was forced to re-think my decision to join IBS( ICFAI) to pursue my MBA career. All the recognition stuff also makes it impossible for my parents to admit me at IBS. I have to further state that since my parents came to know the seriousness of this problem after my parents deposited the money while my parents were not fully informed about the campus problem. Due to this I am extremely disappointed for my carrier. I now feel that it is really a great risk to join IBS (ICFAI) now. So I strongly felt that under this situation of uncertaintees, why should I undertake this highly expensive course of Rs 8.5 Lakhs. This is in such
condition when I will be so uncertain about my future prospect. Also, It will not
be easy for me to repay the amount back to Bank (Education loan amount+ interst).
So, I have decided now not to take admission at IBS Mumbai. I also feel that the
admission fee at IBS (IcFAI) has been kept very high despite knowing the fact that bank
does not provide loans for this.I hail from a middle class family and such huge amount
cannot be managed by my parents easily. Hence, if on wish of my parents, I am
demanding my money back, it is no shame, Hence, if I am not taking admission, I
may be returned this money at the earliest.

I had deposited amount of Rs 100000=00 which was given for preparatory classes and laptop by draft via Bank Of Baroda draft number 349615 dated 28th May, 2010, total amounting Rs 100000=00 sent to Hyderabad address of ICFAI,(IBS).

I therefore request to you to convince IcFAI institution that since I
have not taken my admission, hence the amount remaining after deducing fees for
bonafide and registration should be refunded by draft in favour of my father (Mr.S.S.Dubey Bank Of Baroda,Lawyer's Colony Branch, Agra. Account number-22390400008486).

I shall be highly obliged for this.

    Dear Mr. Jainis Dubey,

It is clearly mentioned in the prospectus that IBS-Mumbai has not sought for AICTE approval.

The students who have withdrawn from the program before commencement of classes i.e. June 1, 2010 are being refunded.

Since you have withdrawn from the course on 7th June 2010, we regret to inform that your request cannot be considered favorably.

    Regards,

    Admission Team
    IBS
