I had a flight from Bangalore - Indore - Bangalore. I had booked my tickets 2 months in advance and now the flights are canceled. The option that I have been given is a 9 Hrs flight (Via Delhi) instead of a 2 Hrs flight that I had booked earlier.

How should I approach the Consumer Forum? My suggestion that I want to make here is that the airlines has to refund not just the amount that we paid initially but the amount that the ticket is worth currently (So that we have option to change flight to any other carriers)
