I am one of the sufferer for the flight delays. i have planned for a journey from chennai to new delhi, have booked flight(spice jet) at 12.15 pm which will arrive to delhi at 3.00 pm. There was some delay at the starting and a remainder was announcing stating it would take 30 min to complete. but in the final the flight was cancelled and postponed to 7.35 pm. which has caused all my travel plans to collapse. we normally book air ticket to make our journey time shorter. but the delays causes both the time and money. not sure how to approach or sue the airlines. the message conveying by the staff is would also be not so clear.
we need to have some restrictions for these kind of situatutions.
