This complaint is with regards to the XKPLCP (pnr no.) Where in I booked tickets from mumbai to delhi(thru make my trip booking id no. NF2506212993484 96694 97345 for indigo flight no 6E-196 with a scheduled departure on 11th December at 15:45.however initially flight was delayed to 17:45 departure.
I have booked this flight for 15:45 so as to reach delhi by 6 and attend my wedding engagement ceremony.I requested Indigo airlines to accomodate me in some other ealry flight as its my engagement and important for me to attend.
However the customer care refused to help me out.
I changed my engagement schedule for the same day to a later time but this flight was again again got delayed and finally took off at 7:50pm.
I repetedly requested Indigo to understand my situation and change my flight to a earlier flight but they said that they are helpless and will not be able to help me.
The flight finally reaches delhi at 9:50pm and i have to cancel my wedding engagement ceremony.
I want to highlight here that i started requesting inidgo airlines from 10th Novemeber onwards to change my flight but they neither understood my situation nor did listen to me.
Due to them i have to cancel my wedding engagement and suffer a financial loss of Rs 12780/- and on the top of it i have to get embarrased in front of the entire guests and my family member.
Thru this mail i want to seek a financial compensation from indigo on account of their poor services and misguding the passenger.
Upon contacting indigo airlines their customer care says that we cant compensate you as the per our internal policy.
Kindly advise the way ahead.
