Sub: Claim for the damage of my baggage while travelling with Indigo Airline

Dear Madam/Sir,

During my travel with Indigo Airlines on 19th August,2011 my baggage was damaged due to careless handling by Indigo staffs. For which I had lodged a complaint at Indigo airport office in the presence of their executive, Mr. P. Srikanth. My complaint number is 20110819/HYD/D/01.

After a month of follow up with Indigo customer care, on 17th Sep, 2011 thier tied up vendor (Veerani Travelite: Mr Ilias) collected the damaged bag from our residence and since then we have been following up with both the vendor and Indigo customer to get back our repaired bag.

As of now, the status from the vendor is that the damaged part is unavailable in the market and charging us Rs. 280.00 for delivering the unrepaired bag at our residence. In the past couple of months, apart from making several calls to Indigo executive and, customer care, we have personally met thrice to Indigo executives Mr. Srikanth, Mr. Deepak and Mr. Uttam but every time we have been assured that the complaint will be closed as soon as possible with satisfactory settlement i.e. either monetary claim or repaired bag. Now I am lost the faith with Indigo and feel like harassed.
Since I am a frequent flier, a travel bag is essential for me. So, this is causing a lot of inconvenience during my travel. Now with no options left, I want to lodge a consumer complaint against Indigo Airlines and claim for the settlement.
