    Hi,

    I've booked the two tickets on 1 of march 2011 (Bangalore-Delhi) for 19 March 2011, because i had some errands running in jaipur I decided to re-set the destination with Jaipur,
    for that i've called indigo CustomerCare, Executive Named Vikas Kumar has taken the call and made a phoney promise saying that " Sir we have tickets for jaipur and you need to pay Rs 1700/- extra"
    after this conversation and confirmation of new ticket Vikas kumar asked me if he can goahead and book the ticket for jaipur and should he cancel the current tickets, as i had the same intentions to have jaipur as my destination i asked him to do the same then he asked me to be onhold after almost 10 minutes he replied stating that "Sir we have no tickets for jaipur and your current tickets are also cancelled and as a "GOOD WILL GESTURE" we are refunding you money after deducting Rs1500/- as a cancellation charge,Now I have nothing in hand my tickets are cancelled without any alternate booking just because of some incompetent customer care executive and add on to my agony they have also deducted 1500 rupees from my refund amount. I have an urgent work on 20 March 2011 and if i not reach to Jaipur or delhi on given date i'll loose considerable amount of money, I hope you'll not ask me to go to court as you dont care whatever happens just like your customercare officer. Please i request you to uncancel the tickets as you dont have any tickets for jaipur for same date as phoney promised by Vikas Kumar your customer care executive.
    I again repeat that its very urgent for me and my co-flier to reach to Jaipur or Delhi on 19th of march 2011.

    I want justice because if will not reach to my destination on the given time i'll loose many people's faith and considerable amount of money also ..and if it happens Indigo is going to repay for thier grave mistake

    Default redressal of grievance

    Sir,
    I am Sqn Ldr A Tripathi, a pilot in the IAF currently posted in Bidar, Karnataka.

    Please refer booking PNR no. UCAWAN for Flt 6E 309 on 29 Apr 11 from Lucknow to Hyderabad in the name of A Tripathi and infant under defence booking.
    The booking was done on 27 Apr 11 afternoon by me through your website. The travellers were my wife Vineeta Tripathi and my infant daughter Anvita Tripathi. The same info was duly filled up in the online details where I had given my name only as contact details but the passenger details were filled for my wife Vineeta and my daughter. I had given the email Id of my relative (namrata_nam20@rediffmail.com) for ease as I was in a different location.

    However, the itinerary received by my wife was for passenger name as mine (A Tripathi) and not her (vineeta tripathi). This error was not due to me since I had filled up the contact and passenger details different and correct. The itinerary also did not mention the name of daughter so I instructed my wife to talk to the travel desk before getting boarding pass to correct the anomaly.

    Today at time of boarding my wife and daughter were not allowed to get boarding passes as the passenger name still listed my name and not hers in the system. I spoke to the Indigo Desk Executive and requested him to check the web form I had filled up while on your website. I was told that these data as online form etc can't be accessed. Since already my wife was in panic and with an infant to take care of alone, I had no other option than to ask my wife to get a fresh tkt on the spot as the flt was just 20 minutes away. I called up the call centre for cancellation where I was told that the refund was not possible as normal and this would be counted as no show even though my wife and daughter whose name was correct were at the check in at the same time.

    I therefore request you to check the data filled in by me in your online form while booking. If the executive was not able to access it why is it to be taken as if the data was filled up incorrectly? I request you to please consider this case in exception and refund the amount after going through the merits of the case.
