This is in respect to my return Jet airways flight PNR No. NQTYYA from Delhi to Mumbai on 7th of Nov via Jet Konnect flight No. 9W-2205 schuled departure 12:10 Hrs from T3 terminal of IGIA, Gurgaon.
We entered the airport at 11.12 hrs i.e. 1 hr in advance of scheduled departure time of 12.10 and were standing in the queue for our turn, two counters were not operative and que was little long there was a single announcement during this time for Mumbai flight in which we responded that we are travelling to Mumbai and then nothing was communicated to us as what needs to be done..Later after 16 minute when we reached at the counter the lady at the counter wrote at the E Ticket print that it was already 11.27 and boarding gate was closed long back and boarding was not possible...Even after several request she was in a kind of fixed mood as she doesn't wants us to enter to flight.
We were astonished that how come boarding was closed long back when were late by only 2 minutes according to same, that too without any prior announcement. Further we went to some senior ground member and tried to make them understand our position then they told us that nothing can be done even after several request...No resolution was done and we were not allowed to board in.. at this time we saw a lady who came to the same counter and took the permission to enter the same flight when we enquired that even we can do the same as we didnt had any checked in luggage and to please consider our request and let us try our luck but all in vain...
The customer handling team of Jet Airways is so insensitive Inhuman they have a very negative body language and it looked that they are completly indifferent to what ever is happening to their customer they in a way think that by leting us allow to travel they are doing some favor to us..They completely lacked any manners and Empathy..
Finally we had to pay exaggeratedly high priced ticket approx 11,300 each to return to Mumbai by Air India evening flight 602...
I would sincerely request consumer forum to do something for this kind of situation and help us wherein consumer is really helpless without any fault of theirs..Life looks like is at mercy of Airlines wherein you are struck somewhere...
